Regional Director, Professional Services (NA)

The Regional Director has accountability for a territory within North America, responsible for helping our customers plan and execute their Informatica implementations to achieve value.  This includes positioning, selling and delivering Professional Services amongst our new and existing client base, as well as alignment to relevant Partner services. Expect to be a manager of managers with a mixture of sales and delivery resource to ensure our customers have a first-rate experience with Informatica technology. You will be expected to create close working relationships with our sales, partner and customer success teams to provide a seamless and integrated experience in bringing Informatica to market. The role will include calling a quarterly forecast for both delivered revenue and new bookings, as well as a collection of other relevant KPIs that measure the overall success of our customers. Expect to travel up to 50% or as the role demand. You will report to the VP of Professional Services, North America.

Your Role Responsibilities? Here's What You'll Do Client management responsibilities include client identification, problem/need identification, proposal development, presentation and close, and post-delivery follow-up Partner closely with Sales and Success teams to ensure positioning, alignment and engagement in all aspects of planning and delivering successful implementation outcomes for customers Forecast revenue and manage consultant utilization and expense budgets, partnering with Finance to ensure accurate invoicing and credit control Management responsibilities include capacity planning, recruitment, development and retention of Professional Services resources Help with the vision, strategy, planning and communication of Professional Services activities Develop operational and tactical plans to deliver strategic goals Hold self and team accountable for documentation within CRM of customer contact and activity data Identify and close services deals with all clients and develop follow on business Find and address risks during bid development and project execution Manage projects ensuring compliance with legal, contract, financial and visa / immigration requirements Negotiate services contracts with customers and legal support Oversee all projects to a high standard ensuring scope definition, resource allocation and management, interface with client managers, and cost/schedule monitoring Manage client satisfaction related to Professional Services activities Nurture career development, managing performance, and pay discussions of team members Achieve the financial targets set for the region Manage teams focused on multiple sales segments/markets, or countries What We'd Like to See A deep understanding of “what it takes to be successful” in a data management implementation, and experience in advising customers on a range of services needed to achieve this A customer centric mindset, with a desire to ‘do the right thing’ Expert leadership skill with a coaching mindset to direct and influence operations and results in the region and team(s) Experience managing teams across different countries and cultures Adept at setting and driving strategic programs in the functional area, and influencing at higher tiers of the organisation Understanding of a customer's decision-making and buying process whilst developing compelling events that align to their strategies and goals Comfortable with exec level audience presentations, demonstrating an executive presence with charisma and gravitas Independent but collaborative when determining approach to managing team and daily operations Creates an environment that promotes the development of talent, and planning for future talent our needs Role Essentials Expert level knowledge in the sale/delivery of hybrid software solutions and Data Management software concepts and products Technical awareness of data management concepts and driving customer value and success Experience with the North America marketplace 15+ years of relevant professional experience Routinely a manager of managers Perks & Benefits Comprehensive health and wellness benefits Flexible time-off policy and hybrid working practices by design Equity opportunities and an employee stock purchase program (ESPP) Comprehensive Mental Health and Employee Assistance Program (EAP) benefit
