New Jersey Regional Director – Adult Day Care

Active Day is the leading provider of adult day health services, and we are looking for a dynamic Regional Director to oversee our New Jersey Adult Day Centers.

 

As Regional Director, you will oversee daily operations and strategic initiative across all Active Day of New Jersey Centers: Spanning from Cape May to North Bergen. This role is pivotal in ensuring that each center operates efficiently, meets regulatory requirements, and delivers high-quality care to our members.  As Regional Director, you will lead a team of Center Directors and collaborate with other departments to optimize performance, enhance member satisfaction, and drive company growth.  You will also take lead in coordinating sales efforts, taking advantage of a close geography and shared marketplace. Additionally, this position will support onboarding of new Center Directors as well as the adoption and execution of best practices.

Job Responsibilities:

Provide operational and administrative instruction and mentorship in the areas of strategic planning and development, person-centered care, personnel management, quality and safety, administrative decision-making, marketing, and fiscal responsibility.Ensure the highest quality care is provided to membersMonitor Objectives and Key Results (“OKRs”), ensuring centers meet financial, operational, growth and member care goals. Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement among the operational teams.Use effective assessment/analytical skills and action planning to expedite the center’s ability to meet financial objectives by achieving or exceeding targeted census goals and effective expense management.Actively engage in the selection, onboarding and professional development of cross-functional team members in accordance with staffing needs and regulatory requirements. Provide ongoing coaching, mentorship, and performance evaluations as appropriate.Support and facilitate creative and innovative continuous improvement efforts associated with operations and quality of services rendered to members.Stay current on related industry knowledge and trends through educational opportunities, publications, networking, and participation in professional organizations.Ability to travel 50% or more within an assigned geography. This is a role that requires consistent onsite support and leadership within each of the centers. Qualifications

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree, preferably in a health and human services field, from an accredited college or university is required; a Registered Nurse or BS Degree in a healthcare-related field is helpful.Minimum of 5 years multi-site leadership experience and a minimum of 3 years of people leadership, with proven success in leading teams in multiple locationsExceptional leadership and communication skills required in order to create and maintain a positive, engaging, and enthusiastic learning environment.Able to identify, motivate, engage, and build high-performance, cross-functional teams through effective coaching and mentorship.Flexible / out-of-the-box thinker that thrives in an environment with tight deadlines and changing priorities, requiring the ability to pivot as business needs change.Excellent organizational and collaboration skills required.Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and best practices in Adult Day Services across multiple states preferred.
