We are seeking a driven, motivated Remote Regional Director of Leisure Sales who knows that being the best means having vision and following through on that vision. This is a highly empowering position requiring high energy. We value forward thinking, progressive and creative personalities. While this is a remote position, the ideal candidate would be based out of the US-Eastern region, somewhere accessible with easy travel to Equinox Resort, Sanderling Resort, and Hawks Cay Resort. Location: Inspire travel specialists in the Luxury and Leisure segments to make Hawks Cay Resort, Duck Key, FL, Equinox Golf Resort & Spa, Manchester, VT and the Sanderling Resort, Duck NC the preferred choices for their Luxury and Leisure Traveler client base. Responsible for booking business from retail travel agencies, TMC, wholesale travel agencies, tour operators, on-line travel agencies, and consortia market segments for three premier resorts. Grow Leisure and Luxury Transient market share with regular sales calls, sales trips, solicitation calls, client entertainment, FAM’s, tradeshows, and actions identified to support exceeding revenue goals. This also includes managing accounts to achieve guest satisfaction and to solicit past and new business to ensure all revenue goals are achieved or exceeded. Responsible for soliciting new group sales accounts, entertaining, and maintaining relationships with existing accounts to meet and exceed revenue goals in guestroom and revenue. Job Description Solicit new and existing accounts to meet and exceed solicitation goals through telephone prospecting, outside sales calls, ite inspections and written communication. Meet & Greet VIP clients of travel specialists Be and Active member in Luxury industry associations Strive to increase suite and upgrade room type sales Create and execute site visit ritual for Luxury Leisure Clients Maximize revenue by selling all facets of the hotel, both orally and in written form to current and potential clients. Handle account details so that all pertinent aspects of the customer relationship with the hotel is complete and documented. Coordinate various departments’ participation in servicing accounts. Develop and conduct persuasive verbal sales presentations to prospective clients. Prepare information to meet with and entertain clients, as deemed appropriate by potential business from that account. Communicate both verbally and in writing to provide clear direction to all departments in the hotel to ensure high quality of service to customers. Prepare correspondence to customers, internal booking reports and file maintenance. Participate in daily business review meeting, training and other sales-related meetings as required. Attend trade shows, community events and industry meetings as necessary to develop these markets. Gain knowledge of competition and key customers in these markets. Be self-motivated in the “work from home” environment. Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis. Perform any other job related duties as assigned. Exceed pre-assigned revenue and solicitation goals in order to exceed budgeted segment requirements. Qualifications Experience, skill, and knowledge Bachelor’s degree preferred. Experience in the Leisure Sales hospitality industry. Deep relationships with the Luxury Leisure Travel community. Experience in remote work environment. 2-5 years of past sales experience in a hotel, TMC and/or consortia within the Luxury Leisure segment. Requires good communication skills, both verbal and written. Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English. Must possess computer skills, including, but not limited to, use of Microsoft Word, Excel, Delphi, Hotel Agency 360 and Cvent. Advanced knowledge of sales skills. Ability to analyze trends, develop, and execute appropriate action plans for one’s own markets. Able to set priorities, plan, organize and delegate some tasks. Desire to participate as part of a team. Must be willing to pitch-in and be a team player. Professional image indicative of the luxury segment. Competitive Bonus Structure: This role will sell for three independent properties, and the bonus is 15% total payout at 100% achievement and not per hotel. Compensation Range The compensation for this position is $120,000.00/Yr. - $140,000.00/Yr. based on qualifications and experience.
