**The Opportunity**
Hyatt seeks an enthusiasticRegional Director of Marketingto join our Inclusive Collection Business Unit. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting a portfolio of All Inclusive Resorts in generating profitable revenue to increase RevPAR, market share, and brand awareness by fully leveraging Hyatt marketing programs at the resort level. The primary mission of the Regional Director of Marketing, (HIC Region) is to liaise with hotel owners within Hyatt’s portfolio of managed hotels and provide marketing support and guidance, developing and implementing turnkey marketing solutions that drive hotel business performance. Additionally this role provides marketing expertise that addresses individual hotel business objectives and solves revenue challenges. Coordination with Operations, Sales and Revenue Management is a key to achieving these objectives. The Regional Director of Marketing, (HIC Region) also aids the development team by providing the primary marketing planning and support for new hotels including new builds, acquisitions and newly renovated properties.

**The Role**

· Acts as the first responder to hotel owner questions or concerns about corporate marketing programs, campaigns and brand standards and assists the brand teams with the communication of brand initiatives applicable to designated hotels.
· Develops strategies to address hotel business needs and leads cross functional teams to design, develop and implement cost effective turnkey hotel marketing tools and resources required to drive positive business results.
· Assists hotels with developing annual marketing plans and budgets by providing strategy and recommendations based on market analysis, current performance metrics and best practices.
· Understands both corporate and hotel level operational needs of marketing programs to effectively execute plans and troubleshoot where needed.
· Understands the business needs and competition for their designated hotels and guides the development of local marketing objectives, strategies and tactics as requested by ownership.
· Provides marketing expertise and direction for hotel openings and renovations that will speed new hotel ramp up and maximize business performance.
· Collaborates with HIC corporate Digital team to develop property digital marketing strategies and execution.
· Counsels hotels on managing Hyatt preferred marketing agencies and suppliers and provides assistance as needed.
· Coach property DOS to ensure curation of unique resort programming in coordination with the hotel operations team to be used in PR and social media activity.
· Where relevant, work with resort team to ensure the proper communications plan is in place and the property is maximizing ongoing for Public Relations Agency representation & KPI deliverables.
· Oversee, in collaboration with the Resort DOS, resort photo shoots. Also ensure photo libraries are up to date with appropriate and current imagery.
· Collaborates with both Americas and LAC Regional B2B and B2C marketing teams on resort specific planning for opt-in/billback opportunities to ensure resorts are maximizing budget and visibility in the proper placements.
· Is engaged in new resort projects when called upon by development, providing the primary marketing planning, Pre-opening budget guidance and support for new hotels including new builds, acquisitions and newly renovated properties.

**Qualifications:**
· At least 8 years’ experience in Marketing and Communications in a Sr. Manager or Director position (hospitality industry experience essential).
· Must be fluent in both English and Spanish.
· Demonstrated ability to develop and implement successful marketing strategies for individual hotels, including ROI / KPI metrics.
· Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain relationships with external and internal contacts (i.e. Ownership, General Manager, Director of Sales and Director of Revenue Leaders, Regional Team, Media Representatives, Public Relations firms).
· Bachelor’s degree required.
· Strong presentation and communications skills, proficiency with programs such as, Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Power Point, and Excel.
· Strong Creative Mind.
· Ability to deliver strong print and collateral marketing materials.
· Ability to work proficiently quickly in a high-pressure & fast paced environment.
· Exceptional with details and follow up.
· Must be able to effectively communicate both verbally and written, with all level of employees and guests in an attentive, friendly, courteous and service oriented manner.
· Must be able to multitask and prioritize departmental functions to meet deadlines.
· Must be able to understand and evaluate complex information, data, etc. from various sources to meet appropriate objectives.
· Must be able to maintain confidentiality of information.
