JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Retail Regional Director of Operations to oversee and drive the performance of our retail stores within a designated geographic area. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in retail management, exceptional leadership skills, and a proven track record of achieving operational excellence and financial targets. This role requires a strategic thinker who can lead, mentor, and collaborate with store managers to optimize efficiency, customer satisfaction, and profitability across the region.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Leadership:

Develop and implement strategic plans for the assigned region in alignment with the company's goals and objectives.Set clear performance targets, KPIs, and benchmarks to ensure consistent store performance and growth.Provide visionary leadership to district managers, guiding them in executing business strategies and fostering a culture of excellence.

2. Financial Management:

Collaborate with the finance team to develop and manage the regional budget, revenue goals, and expense controls.Analyze financial reports and performance metrics to make informed decisions that impact profitability.Identify revenue growth opportunities and work with district managers to drive sales and achieve financial targets.

3. Operational Excellence:

Monitor and assess district operations to ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and standards.Analyze operational data and trends to identify opportunities for improvement in areas such as inventory management, staffing, and customer service.Implement best practices and initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs.

4. Team Development:

Recruit, train, mentor, and provide guidance to district managers to develop their leadership and operational skills.Foster a positive work environment that encourages collaboration, innovation, and professional growth.Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to ensure a high-performing team.

5. Customer Experience:

Uphold a customer-centric approach, ensuring that all stores consistently deliver exceptional customer service.Address customer concerns and feedback to maintain and improve overall customer satisfaction.

6. Communication and Collaboration:

Establish strong communication channels with cross-functional teams, including marketing, HR, and logistics, to drive cohesive operations and successful initiatives.Collaborate with other regional directors to share best practices and contribute to company-wide improvements.

7. Compliance and Risk Management:

Ensure stores adhere to legal and regulatory requirements, health and safety standards, and company policies.Mitigate operational risks by identifying potential issues and implementing preventative measures.

8 .Accountability:

Demonstrate a strong sense of responsibility and ownership for store operations, team performance, and customer satisfaction, ensuring that targets and KPIs are consistently met and exceeded.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive retail management experience, with at least 3-5 years in a regional or multi-unit leadership role.Proven track record of achieving financial targets and operational excellence.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.Excellent leadership and team-building abilities.Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.Proficiency in using retail management software and tools.Flexibility to travel within the assigned region as needed.

Base pay offered may vary depending on actual location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Supplemental pay types may include commissions or bonus incentives, depending on the role.
