Title: Regional Director of Operations
Location: Wisconsin (Position can be based out of any of our 25 locations across Wisconsin)

Status: Full Time, Salaried
Position Overview: The Regional Director of Operations for GO Riteway’s School Bus Division is responsible for providing strategic management and leadership across the regional school bus operations. The Director will be responsible for leading the region’s alignment with company strategies, overseeing operational performance across assigned terminals, and maintaining strong school district relationships. The Director will provide leadership to foster a positive employee relations environment and ensure compliance with company policies. The Director will be responsible for leading front-line managers towards operational goals, and be responsible for achieving key performance metrics including: safety, sales, customer service, profitability, and employee retention.
Responsibilities:
Student Transportation Operations: Lead team of operations managers and terminal staff to work effectively in a 24/7 school bus transportation environment ensuring that operations provide well planned and executed services to our valued school districts. Responsible for all operations results including safety, employee relations, customer service, and profitability.Safety: Ensure safety remains the top priority in your region, implementing education programs and fostering a culture of accountability for safety behavior.Employee Relations: Cultivate a positive employee relations climate, collaborating with HR professionals to address employee concerns and enhance employee engagement and retention. Responsible for regional performance on annual employee engagement survey.Customer Relations: Ensure that terminal managers and terminal operation teams provide outstanding customer service to districts, parents, and students. Foster excellent relationships with all assigned school districts maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction with district leadership and an intimate knowledge of district contractual requirements and operational nuances. Ensure that all company interactions in the community are safe, professional, and highly responsive. Responsible for regional performance on annual customer service survey. P&L Management: Responsible for achieving all revenue and profitability goals of the region. Work in collaboration with company leadership to develop divisional strategies, goals, and budgets. Plan, staff, direct, organize and control operations to ensure that expenses are consistent with approved budgets. Proactively manage labor and vehicle schedules to reflect our varying business volume demands while maximizing efficiencies. Management Leadership: Participate as a member of the Director level management team, contributing to strategic planning and business development initiatives.Direct Reports: 5-10 Operations Managers
Desired Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in a business or related field.Minimum of 5 years of business experience with P&L management and experience managing, leading, and mentoring other managers.Strong managerial and interpersonal leadership skills, with the ability to drive high performance within the regional team.Previous background in challenging, fast-paced operating environments including transportation, logistics, or service-oriented industries considered advantageous. Candidates must be able to obtain a Commercial Driver’s License.Compensation and Benefits:
