Job Summary:
The Texas | Northern Louisiana Region of Trane is looking to hire a Regional Contracting Operations Leader to join our team. In this role you will be responsible for the administration, implementation, and management of the contracting fulfillment processes, including management of teams of preconstruction project estimators, project managers, site superintendents and project support staff. This role is critical for Trane to reach its goal of operational excellence, support of overall strategic objectives, and obtain favorable overall project financial results.

This position is eligible for a Hybrid work schedule and can be based in any of our four major Area offices located in Fort Worth, Dallas, Austin, or San Antonio.
Responsibilities:
Working alongside the Regional Energy Services Leader, assist in managing the P&L for Turnkey and Comprehensive Solutions Contracting business within the Region.Oversee and manage all construction related activities within the Region.Ensure that all projects, ranging from $100K to multi-million dollar values, are fulfilled in compliance with contract, specification, and other project documents.Establish structure for a consistent region estimating and pre-construction process to minimize cost and mitigate risk.Lead and support Project Managers with subcontractor selection and job buy-outs, helping with negotiations to maximizing cost savings and assist with subcontractor replacements, as needed.Evaluate and oversee construction timelines for each project within the Region using ProCore Construction Management Platform.Manage project turn-over to Service department, including completion of punch-list items and ensure all walk-through forms are signed and completed for owner orientations/occupancy.Maintains customer satisfaction by investigating concerns, implementing corrective action, and communicating with customers and staff as needed. Working alongside the Regional EHS Leader, oversee office procedures and execution regarding safety, quality control, SWPPP, and FHA/ADA compliance. Ensure that all buildings in the construction area are met with all safety standards in accordance with OSHA and state regulations.Working alongside the Regional Leadership Team, develop a subcontractor strategy across the Region taking advantage of Trane equipment and controls partners.Identify and hire new Contracting staff, as needed, to support the growth of the Regional Energy Services business.Deliver monthly required contracting reports including SOX and audit requirements associated with our contracting projects.Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in Construction Management.Minimum eight (8) years’ experience in construction of retrofit HVAC systems preferred.Experienced and knowledgeable in contracting processes associated with the installation of building automation systems and turnkey projects preferred.Proficiency with MS Office and email.Proficiency with management of projects using ProCore construction management software preferred. Must possess a valid driver’s license for a minimum of 12 months, with no major or frequent traffic violations included, but not limited to: DUI, Hit & Run, License Suspension, Reckless/Careless Driving or multiple smaller infractions or preventable collisions in the previous 3 years.Compensation:
Potential base salary range: $160,000 to $200,000, plus incentive. Total compensation for this role will include an incentive plan against Regional Goals.
