Regional Facilities Manager - onsite Job ID 201297 Posted 24-Jan-2025 Service line GWS Segment Role type Full-time Areas of Interest Facilities Management Location(s) Mountain View - California - United States of America **About the Role:** As a CBRE Regional Facilities Manager, you will oversee the daily activities of the team managing building operations and maintenance within a specific region. This role is integral to the Facilities Management and Workplace Experience sectors. **What You’ll Do:** + Attend meetings to discuss the performance of regional facilities. + Create strategic facility management objectives for clients. Generate capital projects, operating budgets, and variance reports. + Manage and oversee vendors that providing diverse services to the facilities. + Assist in advancing deliverables associated with existing and newly developed programs across the US portfolio. + Provide formal supervision to employees. Monitor the training and development of staff. Conduct performance evaluations and coaching. Oversee the recruiting and hiring of new employees. + Set and track staff and department deadlines. Mentor and coach as needed. + Prepare and present reports on property profiles, emergency preparedness plans, site inspections, facility audits, and other related matters. + Create and implement policies and procedures to guarantee compliance with contract specifications. + Prepare presentations to obtain approval for projects. + Inspect the facility periodically for quality assurance. Ensure facility procedures comply with local, state, and federal regulations. + Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Influence parties of shared interests to reach an agreement. + Create and implement policies and procedures to guarantee compliance with contract specifications. + Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve day-to-day and moderately complex issues which may or may not be evident in existing systems and processes. **What You’ll Need:** + Bachelor's Degree preferred with 5 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered. + Should possess conflict resolution skills and be able to respond confidently in challenging situations. + Familiarity with overseeing Union employees beneficial. + Should have some MEP and/building systems knowledge. + Experience in staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and rewarding performance and retention preferred. + Capability to facilitate the exchange of sensitive, complex, and challenging information, communicate performance expectations, and address issues. + Exceptional leadership skills to inspire a team, positively impacting the quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of the job discipline and department. + In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Outlook, etc. + Possess extensive organizational abilities combined with a highly inquisitive mindset. + Advanced math skills. Ability to calculate difficult figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financially related calculations. + Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future. \#GWSFMS **California Residents:** CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Regional Facilities Manager position is $150,000 annually and the maximum salary for the Regional Facilities Manager position is $165,000 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE’s applicable benefit program.
