**About the role**
The purpose of this position is to lead multiple functions of building operations and maintenance of facilities within a campus and/or region.
**What you’ll do**
+ Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients. Conduct client meetings, communicate to clients regarding regional facilities performance, property profiles, emergency preparedness plans, site inspections, facility audits, work order progress reports, and other related reports.
+ Prepare for and handle response to severe weather events and natural disasters, including site closures.
+ Available for emergency issues 24hrs a day, 7 days a week.
+ Manage the operations and maintenance of facilities within a region. Educate and collaborate with other team members to deliver expected service levels to the client.
+ Develop and recommend strategic facility management objectives for clients. Prepare capital project budgets and operating budget reports. Prepare periodic operating budget variance reports.
+ Responsible for facility inspections for quality assurance on a periodic basis. Ensure facility procedures align with local, state, and federal regulations.
+ Use pc and/or PDA for work order system, email, ESS and training.
**What you’ll need**
Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and a minimum of five years of related experience and/or training. Bachelor's degree is desired, with focus on business, technical or management areas.
Facility Management certification preferred. Driver's license is required.
Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret the most complicated business documents. Ability to respond efficiently to the most critical issues. Ability to write reports, manuals, speeches and articles using distinctive style. Ability to make effective and persuasive presentations on complicated topics to employees, clients, top management and/or public groups. Ability to empower and negotiate efficiently with key employees, top management, and client groups to take desired action.
Requires in-depth knowledge of financial terms and principles. Ability to calculate complicated figures. Ability to forecast and prepare budgets. Conducts financial/business analysis including the preparation of reports.
Ability to address high level problems and handle a variety of options in complicated situations. Requires high level analytical and quantitative skills with validated experience in developing strategic solutions for a growing matrix-based multi-industry sales environment. Draws upon the analysis of others and makes recommendations that have a direct impact on the company.
Decisions made with in-depth understanding and interpretation of procedures, company policies and business practices to achieve general results. Responsible for setting department goals. Errors in judgment may cause long-term impact to co-workers, supervisor, department and/or line of business.
