The Position
As a Facility Maintenance Manager you set the foundation for us to fulfill our commitment to providing clean and well-maintained clubs. Your daily focus is to oversee our maintenance technicians and ensure proper operation of all club areas and equipment to provide a safe experience for our members. Requirements
Maintenance: 2 years Management experience: 1 year General experience in repair/maintenance of equipment and physical building General knowledge of HVAC and/or electrical equipment Excellent organizational, multi-tasking, analytical problem solving, and communication skills General understanding of computer skills, including email, excel, and digital maintenance logs Previous experience in health club maintenance strongly preferred Reliable transportation CPR/AED certification
Physical Requirements/Work Environment Must be able to work in an environment with occasionally high noise levels; weights clanging, feet pounding treadmills, energetic music, and the laughter of lives changing can get loud. Regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts. Daily duties include lifting weights or equipment, squatting, bending, reaching, climbing a ladder, remaining in a stationary position for prolonged periods of time, and moving for prolonged periods of time. Must be able to move fitness equipment weighing a minimum of 50 pounds. Regularly exposed to various chemicals, cleaning supplies, and grease/oil from exercise equipment
Responsibilities
Your daily responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Managing the maintenance technicians to ensure all jobs are being performed with excellence and efficiency Conducting a walk-throughs of the facility, identifying repair/service needs, and maintaining the club's Maintenance Log Partnering with the General Managers to discuss club maintenance needs, and timeline for repairs Maintaining, or overseeing outside service provider maintenance of, the hydro beds, tanning booths, etc. to ensure proper service and maintenance. Procuring repair parts, materials, tools, and equipment Performing routine preventative maintenance, including upkeep of associated logs and history files Performing monthly OSHA safety checks as required on the OSHA / Preventative Maintenance Guidelines, and modeling all OSHA, company and Facilities department safety guidelines Interacting with members while on the floor to help maximize their club experience

SIR Fitness is based in Southern California and our 11 franchise locations include Crunch Garden Grove, Crunch Huntington Beach, Crunch Fountain Valley, Crunch Tustin, Crunch San Clemente, Crunch Vista, Crunch Oceanside, Crunch Carmel Valley, Crunch University Square, and Crunch Eastlake.
Our clubs are filled with the best strength and cardio equipment in the industry, including a functional training zone with turf, Olympic lifting platforms, group fitness studio, and tons of machines and free weights. We’re also proud to offer a Relax and Recover zone with hydromassage beds, tanning booths, and lounge. Some clubs also feature state of the art cycle studios, 3D body scanner and sauna. Our gyms also offer personal training and nutrition coaching, group fitness classes, and HIIT Zone classes.
