Regional Field Marketing Specialist (REMOTE Chicago, IL)

Summary:

This position will be responsible for tailoring global marketing communications to meet the needs of regional customers and end markets. The regional field marketing role partners closely with the global marketing teams to ensure regional needs are covered and an optimal mix of assets and channels are quickly moving a prospect through the buying process.

The field marketing role partners with the regional PLL’s / Sales leaders to plan and execute tactical programs in support of the territory sales and growth goals for PerkinElmer solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Execution

· Fill the sales pipeline to support the sales financial targets. This role is responsible for monitoring the overall pipeline and filling the marketing sourced part of it, to appropriate levels

· Translate sales objectives into strategies and project plans for marketing support

· Maintains a strong relationship and communication plan with their respective business units.

· Reviews digital plans and ensures execution and ROI: social, SEM, ABM, and 3rd party.

· Execution of localized/customized global campaigns in the Americas region

· Maintains lead, opportunity, and attendance targets for complete yearly events list.

· Ensures the sales teams quarterly objectives include driving customer engagement, customer awareness, and new customer acquisition.

· Engage with sales teams to coordinate and maximize impact of marketing activities

· Determine sales enablement needs, working with relevant marketing partners to develop

· Maintains timely field communication vehicles (Training, Internal Newsletters)

· Oversees regional new product launches, coordinating and interlocking with global teams and regional teams

· Delivering support to regional events as determined by sales directors and teams (event messaging as needed, driving agenda development and any event localization needs)

· Works closely with Product Line Leaders and Sales Team on changing priorities to maximize effectiveness of campaigns and events throughout the year

· Monitors budget and effectiveness for owned responsibilities. Develops clear ROIs around program spend and switches to most effective tactics when needed.

· Determine sales enablement needs, and work with global marketing to develop needed tools

· Ensure field marketing activities are aligned with business objectives, messaging and corporate brand.

· The candidate will spend time in the field to develop a deep understanding of customer needs and market opportunities in target markets and with key growth products.

· Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

· Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in business, communication, marketing, the sciences (must have communications experience if degree in the sciences).

· Minimum of 3 – 5+ years of marketing communications experience. Sales experience a plus.

· Solid skills using a variety of computer programs including Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, Excel, Adobe Suite.

· Knowledge of SEM, PPC, landing page practices, Google Analytics, and Sales Force.

· Excellent written and verbal skills, copy write skills a plus.

· A can-do and win-win attitude and ability to multi-task.

· Knowledge and experience in the science market and/or analytical technologies is a plus.

· Strong project management skills and an adaptive and flexible attitude. To be successful, the candidate will need to flex with the needs of the business while ensuring that project objectives are completed along planned timelines.

· Strong team player, able to work across boundaries and teams.

· Work under pressure and balance multiple priorities.

Travel Requirement:

· The candidate will spend time in the field to ensure that they develop a deep understanding of customer needs and market opportunities

· Travel to support events and meetings as necessary

· Overall 20%-40%
