As a member of the Consumer Packaging North America Finance team, the Regional Finance Director will be aligned with an operational segment of the division and be tasked with driving business improvement and increased collaboration between finance and operations to help exceed business targets. This position will collaborate closely with Operations, Product Management, Human Resources, Sales and Innovation. This role can be filled near one of our North America locations but Evansville, IN is preferred. It will report into the Sr. Finance Director. 

Responsibilities Drive improved financial performance by identifying and executing opportunities to increase sales and reduce costs.Develop new and further enhance current key operational metrics to increase visibility and clarity as to how operational performance is being reflected in the P&L statement.Facilitate and drive improved communication and collaboration between finance and operations – focus on returned physical presence and involvement in day-to-day operationsCommunicate weekly financial forecasts to divisional leadership, including detailed analysis of assumptions that are driving the projected resultCommunicate monthly financial results to divisional leadership, including detailed analysis on how price, cost and volume each played a part in the given resultAct as partner along with operations in having detailed monthly operating reviews (MOR) for each siteOversee capital approval process for the respective region, including all second level reviews and approvalsServe as integral part of annual budget planning process – assist controllers and plant managers with accurately budgeting operational improvements Be able to create executive level business summaries of an operational region that can be rolled up to the cumulative divisional level

Performance Measurements:

Meeting sales and profit goals consistent with Annual Operating Plan (AOP)Identify and implement financial and operationally relevant Key Performance indicators (KPI) across and within respective operational regionSuccessful management of CAPEX submissions and expectations Excellent customer deliverables, including presentations, and effective communication Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or equivalent experience required - MBA is a plus5-7 years of Finance, Accounting or financial analysis in manufacturingUnderstanding of manufacturing costing, inventory, and data processing.Prior experience with ERP systems (preferably JD Edwards) and MS Office.Understanding of manufacturing operations desired.Strong Product Management or Financial background preferred, experience with a Consumer Product Goods (CPG) company is a plusCapability to build/maintain excellent rapport with all levels and functionsDemonstrated strong meeting and presentation skillsStrong understanding and experience with Word, Microsoft Excel, and Power Point Options Apply for this job onlineApplyShareEmail this job to a friendRefer Sorry the Share function is not working properly at this moment.
