As our Regional Fleet Accounting Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the financial health of our Alaska Seafoods Processing Facilities. You'll oversee a wide range of financial operations, from setting up complex pricing structures to ensuring regulatory compliance.

Your expertise will be instrumental in driving strategic decision-making, maximizing profitability, and ensuring the long-term success of our operations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The responsibilities of the position include the following:
Develop and implement comprehensive financial strategies aligned with business objectives.Prepare annual budgets and forecasts, monitor financial performance and identify opportunities for improvement.Oversee day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, manage cash flow and optimize working capital.Set up and maintain product, price list, tax, and premium information in North Scope.Assist Operations Managers (OMs) and Financial Analysts (FAs) with price adjustments and data entry issues.Conduct periodic audits of North Scope data for accuracy and consistency.Ensure compliance with complex fisheries regulations, tax laws, and other relevant regulations.Manage the acquisition and renewal of Alaska Fisheries Business Licenses, Registered Buyers Permits, Federal Processors Permits, and bonding requirements.Oversee the ordering and management of Fisher Credit Cards.Calculate and prepare profit-sharing payments.Develop and analyze limit scenarios including calculating equity award amounts.Gather hatchery information, approve payments, and execute payment requests.Coordinate OM/FA participation in ownership meetings.Mentor and develop a high-performing team, foster a collaborative and supportive work environment.Provide guidance and support to operations teams.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, operations, and procurement, to achieve business objectives.Build strong relationships with stakeholders, including regulators, suppliers, and customers.Other duties to help support teams and entire organization.

Physical Demands
Employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to handle packages, inventory, and material handling equipment. The employee is occasionally required to sit, stoop, kneel, crouch, squat, push, twist, and pull.
