Regional General Manager
Description Position Overview The Regional General Manager is a high-impact leadership role responsible for overseeing restaurant operations across multiple locations within a designated region. This position ensures operational excellence, drives profitability, and fosters a culture of exceptional guest experience. Acting as a key liaison between corporate leadership and individual locations, the Regional General Manager is instrumental in setting strategic goals, ensuring compliance with company standards, and cultivating engaged teams. Key Responsibilities Operations Management + Oversee daily operations across multiple restaurant locations to ensure consistency, efficiency, and adherence to company standards. + Monitor and analyze key performance metrics (e.g., sales, labor costs, food quality, customer satisfaction) and develop action plans to meet or exceed goals. + Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and legal regulations, as well as company policies. Financial Leadership + Develop and manage regional budgets, including forecasting revenue and controlling expenses to meet financial targets. + Identify and implement strategies to optimize profitability, such as labor management, cost controls, and revenue growth initiatives. + Review financial performance reports regularly and provide guidance to General Managers to improve underperforming locations. Team Leadership & Development + Recruit, train, and mentor General Managers and other regional leadership roles to build a high-performing team. + Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members. + Promote a culture of continuous learning and professional development, creating opportunities for employees to grow within the organization. Customer Experience + Champion a customer-first philosophy to enhance the overall dining experience across all locations. + Act as a brand ambassador to ensure each location meets the company’s standards for quality, service, and hospitality. + Address escalated customer issues and work with location teams to implement long-term solutions. Strategic Planning + Collaborate with corporate leadership to align regional operations with broader company objectives. + Develop and execute strategies to expand market presence and improve operational efficiency across the region. + Evaluate new location opportunities and provide insight for potential expansion within the market. Requirements Education and Experience + Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field (preferred). + Minimum of 7–10 years of progressive experience in multi-unit restaurant management. + Strong financial acumen, with demonstrated success in managing P& L statements and driving profitability. Skills and Competencies + Exceptional leadership and team-building skills, with a proven ability to inspire and manage diverse teams. + In-depth knowledge of restaurant operations, including customer service, inventory management, and compliance requirements. + Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and develop actionable strategies. + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels. + Highly organized, with effective time-management and decision-making abilities.
