The team
Our Global People Services (GPS) team consists of three regions: the Americas, EMEA and APAC, reporting to the global GPS Leader. We provide HR Shared Services support to a population of more than 50,000 employees globally. As the leader of our Americas GPS team, you will have a unique opportunity to build and evolve the team structure, focused on tiered approach and process-specific work. The Americas team will support an employee population located in 8 different countries including USA, Canada, Argentina, Mexico and others.

The role

The Regional GPS leader will focus on building a culture of continuous improvement, ensuring efficient and consistent employee experience and delivering operational excellence and simplification across our Global People Services team’s processes.

• Fostering an inclusive culture and, through effective recruiting, coaching and succession planning, building an engaged and diverse team able to deliver best-in-class services and support
• Partnering with team members and leadership to build a long-term shared services strategy and strong working partnerships with HRBP, COEs and business functions to achieve alignment on cross-functional projects and increase customer service
• Ownership for the end-to-end transition plan for new processes into GPS, leveraging dashboards to report progress and risk status and leading the team in partnering with HRBPs/COEs for shadowing, documentation and resources mapping to ensure seamless transitions
• Creating a metrics driven organization and driving accountability, with clear SLA's and performance measures based on customer satisfaction and that align to positive employee experience
• Building reports and dashboards with meaningful metrics and communicating cross-functionally to senior stakeholders, demonstrating Shared Services value and updating on transformation progress, program initiatives and opportunities for optimization
• Responsible for embedding ongoing training and documentation for all processes and activities within GPS services and program initiatives

What you’ll bring

• Demonstrable expertise within HR Operations as a respected people manager, with the ability to lead, develop and empower teams
• A track record in optimally transitioning work to HR Shared Services and re-engineering processes to standardize and create the foundation upon which services can scale
• An understanding of operational excellence within HR Shared Services processes and practice, adept at crafting performance indicators and setting targets using engaging methods and tools
• Collaborative style with a strong customer focus mind-set that centres on employee experience and continuous improvement
• Demonstrated track record of handling partnerships with COEs, with the ability to drive consensus among key stakeholders with diverse needs and interests
• Ability to manage a portfolio of projects in a fast-paced environment, adapting to shifting priorities
• Strong communication skills and able to deliver impactful metrics, dashboards and presentations to multiple audiences
• Exposure to HR automation tools
