Regional Global Practice Manager – Global Facilities (California)

**Description**
We're looking for a regional practice builder who can lead, develop and operate a team of architects and engineers focused on our GFS market in California
What you will do
+ Lead the California Region’s Global Facilities (GFS) practice.
+ Primary focus will be growing our Global Practice in a dynamic and profitable manner based upon Burns & McDonnell's core values of client satisfaction, commitment, dedication, integrity, safety, and overall outstanding service.
+ Responsible for the sales, revenue and income goals for the Global Practice.
+ Directly responsible for leading the strategy and growth of one GFS business lane (Food & Beverage, LS&T or Aerospace and Industrial) with responsibility for recruiting and developing business line leaders in other markets in the region.
+ Initiates and directs proposal development and contract negotiations; responsible for coordinating project planning including scoping, budgeting, maintaining schedules, communicating and managing deadlines and establishing and performing to critical project objectives.
+ Lead and oversee client development in one key market, ideally, acting in a seller-doer role to facilitate market growth and delegating responsibilities to when appropriate. Support and develop leaders in other business lines to oversee clients development.
+ Identify and support the recruitment of key individuals and retain outstanding employee-owners.
+ Partner and align with the GFS national practice team to develop and implement initiatives, objectives, key results and business strategies.
+ Present monthly financial information to leadership including schedules and budget forecasts.
+ Responsible for ensuring alignment and support of Regional Office staff development, quality control and resource coordination.
+ Responsible for conducting performance evaluation for selected departments or direct reports.
+ Responsible for interpreting policies, purposes and goals of the organization to Department Managers.
+ Plans, coordinates, communicates and facilitates activities of several disciplines on projects of all sizes from conception through completion.
+ Contribute through active participation and communication with peer group within the region to support cross selling, collaboration and office health.
+ Partner with regional and national construction teams to help advance the GFS EPC business in the region
+ Ensures quality and safety standards.
**Qualifications**
+ Bachelor Degree in engineering, business or related degree from an accredited program and 10 years relevant consulting experience, preferably in the consulting engineering industry or project management. Required
+ Expert experience in client and business development.
+ Must demonstrate direct experience and understanding of one key business line including understanding key customers in the region/market
+ Must demonstrate ability to recruit, retain and develop talent
+ Demonstrated experience in EPC projects
+ Expert experience in managing projects, which includes proposal development, contract negotiations, project planning, design team coordination & communication, budgeting, schedule management, and client coordination.
+ Expert facilitation, collaboration, organization, and problem solving skills.
+ Demonstrated success as to budget, savings and/or profit margins in completed projects.
+ Ability to thoughtfully and positively influence, lead and manage.
+ Excellent planning and analytical skills.
+ Must demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills; strong interpersonal skills; and the ability to clearly and effectively present complex information to all levels of employees, management, and clients.
+ Expert knowledge of project management methodologies and tools including the use of Microsoft Project or equivalent.
**Compensation**
$245,000.00-530,000.00 Annually
The expected compensation range for this position is displayed in compliance with all local/state regulations. The expected compensation range for this position is based on a number of factors, including but not limited to: individual education, qualifications, prior work experience and work location. The total annual compensation package will consist of a base salary and eligibility to participate in our discretionary year-end incentive bonus program.
