Daikin Applied is seeking a Regional Solution Controls Manager in our Mid-Atlantic Region! The Solution Controls Manager promote the growth of controls capabilities throughout the Mid-Atlantic Region. This role will be responsible for leading supportive resources and others to meet or exceed the needs of the district service offices. What you will do:
Continuously listen to the Control needs of the region and make recommendations on additional resources to continue rapid growth Communicate available resources and progress regularly to the district service offices. Provide resources and support to overcome growth challenges at the districts service level. Provide direct controls project development and service sales support to sales members throughout the region as needed Prepare cost estimates and prices quotations on new work and coordinate the preparation of cost estimates on project continuation Coordinate the development interface with project management and operations team to assure customer satisfaction Direct Engineering team members to develop products and solutions that meet the current and future needs of our district service offices Communicate regularly with peers in other regions and divisions to promote a consistent deliverable to our customers. Work directly with vendor partners to ensure best available products and consistent pricing for district offices Identify and negotiate with addition vendors to meet or exceed the product and training needs of our engineering and district service offices. Identify and communicate available internal and external professional development courses for all Controls team members Promote a culture of continuous improvement for Controls personnel by challenging individuals to take on professional development training courses when available Coach and mentor additional Controls Project Developers, Engineering team members, and other key players to meet or exceed Daikin and industry standards Performs other related duties as assigned or requested

Minimum Qualifications:
2 – 4 years’ experience Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, OR equivalent combination of work experience and education BMS/Niagara experience Proven leadership experience Niagara 4 TCP Strong knowledge of HVAC systems Familiarity with building automation protocols (BACnet, Modbus, etc.). Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to travel as needed to support District and MOR Service offices
Preferred Qualifications:
12+ years’ experience in the Commercial/Industrial HVAC & Controls industry 8+ years people leadership experience Daikin product knowledgeWork visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

The typical annual base salary for this position ranges from $113,800 - 179,300 in Pennsylvania and $136,600 - $215,300 in Maryland/Washington DC metro area. This position is also eligible for an annual bonus. The range displayed represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade which this position falls. Individual base pay will depend on a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
