A day in the life.

As our Individual Medicare Leader on the Employee Health & Benefits team, you’ll be responsible for the growth, execution, and overall management of this emerging business unit. You’ll be expected to implement a vision focused on building, growing, and scaling a centralized business unit dedicated to educating and enrolling our clients' employees in the Medicare offerings available to them.

The position demands proven managerial experience, with the capability to oversee a multi-state regional team and manage profit and loss (P&L) responsibilities. A key aspect of this role is the ability to effectively communicate and convey our strategy to a diverse group of stakeholders, including local market CEOs, Sales Leaders, Practice Leaders, and Producers.

You’ll be responsible for ensuring the achievement of the division's strategic objectives through visionary leadership, talent development, talent acquisition, and oversight of daily operations, marketing processes, compliance, governance and revenue production.

We’d love to meet you if your professional track record includes these skills:

10+ years of experience in Employee Health and Benefits industry, including experience within a broker/agency or carrier environment, preferably with a portion of that time in a sales roleBachelor’s degree in business or equivalent requiredThorough command of the Individual Medicare Marketplace, including proficient understanding of the broader Employee Health & Benefits landscape; demonstrated ability to lead application of technology solutionsDemonstrated ability to partner effectively with insurance carriersProven ability to interact with senior executives, to develop and gain support of a vision, and to operate effectively under pressureProven ability to manage multiple projects/initiatives and offer a strategic viewpoint to holistically ensure that MMA UMW goals/objectives are achievedStrong relationship builder, listener and partner to the business

The applicable base salary range for this role is $144,200 to $268,600.

The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
