The Regional IT Manager will be responsible for supporting IT within multiple communities. They will work closely with the Executive Directors and their staff to provide technology oversight, understand how IT is functioning for their community, and establish go forward plans that align with the needs of the community and residents. This role will work closely with others in the same role, the professional services team and stay engaged with the Innovations Council.
This position reports to the Director, Regional IT Services. This position may guide the onsite technical resources for local IT and resident support. In addition, this role will engage with either the local IT team or the MSP to address performance and ongoing support needs.

The Role:
Develop and maintain a 3-year IT Strategic Plan – This helps your community stay competitive, lets you know what you need to spend in the coming years, and helps define where you want to go from a technology standpoint. Assist in preparing the annual IT Budget – Linked with the strategic plan and tightly coordinated across the community leadership team. Knowledge and assistance identifying technologies that can drive efficiencies, improve resident experience, and provide better resident care. Tightly control IT spend by reviewing contracts, service levels and compliance. Oversight of IT security practices – Follow up with local IT on best practice implementation, coordinate needed HIPAA assessments and drive awareness across the community leadership team. Oversight of existing IT support – Monitor IT performance, engage in escalated issues and participate in quarterly IT reviews. Provide guidance to the Community resident support council as it relates to IT initiatives or issues. Ongoing interaction with community leadership, including but not limited to, provide monthly reports reviewing IT activity and delivery, and conduct IT Quarterly Business Reviews with each community. Provide or augment project management for larger project initiatives.
Experience:
Senior living experience preferred 4-year Computer Science, Computer Engineering or MIS degree, or equivalent experience 3+ years working in IT with experience in budgeting and basic infrastructure 2+ years working with IT customers to understand needs / requirements
Knowledge & Skills:
Basic understanding of network fundamentals Basic understanding of end user computing solutions Solid understanding of Office 365 tools, Excel, PowerPoint, Word Understanding of Cyber Security concepts and best practices Excellent customer service, organizational and problem-solving skills. Ability to analyze problem and select proper corrective action. Strong communication and interpersonal skills required. Ability to develop presentations for executive director, staff, and ownership boards Strong conflict management An understanding of the Senior Living industry and Senior Living technologies is preferred.
