Essential Functions

Direct management of EMS ACT Territory Managers within a specified Region of the countryMaintain a positive attitude and maintain objectivityExceed Regional sales quota for hardware, software and disposable sales quotas assigned and total dollarsControl discounts and expenses to contribute to ZOLL’s profitabilityHire, educate, retain and promote talented sales peopleFoster a team environment within your RegionCommunicate, implement, and monitor the EMS ACT Strategic PlanDevelop Territory Managers though coaching and positive reinforcementSpend on average of three days per week working in the field with your TM’sSet expectations for the Territory Managers and inspect what you expectKnow, manage, and update your regional book of business to ensure quota achievement by all Territory Managers that report to youEnsuring the Territory Managers provide reports as required, including, but are not limited to, weekly expense reports, monthly and quarterly forecasts, and regular up-to-date activity reportingResponsible for Territory Managers providing the required in-service education to customersResponsible for Territory Managers ensuring the proper technical scope review has been conducted prior to saleResponsible for Territory Managers maintaining and tracking demo and evaluation inventory and documenting the use thereof in Salesforce.comBe a company expert and resource on both ZOLL and competitive productsMaster Miller Heiman Conceptual and Strategic Selling skills and use the concepts and ideas as part of your opportunity management with each Territory Manager in your regionResponsible for field reinforcement of products and positioning strategyRepresent ZOLL in a professional and ethical mannerLead by example, motivate and inspire your teamCommunicate openly and share information with othersAnalyze and report on trends that you observe within your RegionComply with all policies and standards.Any other job responsibilities as assigned by management and subject to modification.


Required/Preferred Education and Experience

College Degree preferred5 – 10 years in sales and / or sales management required


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Good Leadership skillsStrategic planning abilityBasic computer skillsKnowledge of ZOLL and competitive positioning strategies

Ability to lift 25 lbs.
