What you will do:
Provide overall strategic leadership with clear team objectives and formulate departmental goals, strategies, and SOPs and continuous improvement. Leads new business development activities and contract negotiations, as well as securing renewals and scope expansion.Formulates and implements project goals, strategies, and SOPS. Ensures that all SOPs are followed, and DOT, Safety, OSHA and other requirements are met.Manages teams related to hiring, on-boarding, performance management, utilization, training, development, salary, promotions, transfers and terminations. Coaches individual and team performance and improvement.Manages financial performance for the region. Works with other departments to establish or improve management systems required to provide long-term stability and growth and minimize risk. Responsible for establishing and tracking key performance forecasts and indicators to ensure regional performance and alignment with company strategic plan/goals. Oversees the preparation and administration of the annual operating and capital budget.Analyze project performance data against established service agreement deliverables and KPIs. Ensures company programs and policies are implemented and utilized across the project portfolio. Ensures overall customer satisfaction and manages client communications.Drive the culture of professionalism in safety, employee empowerment, inclusion, quality, communications, etc. Other duties as assigned.Qualifications:
Experience and proven track record in (5+ years) in managing water/wastewater treatment facilities with a focus on the utility sector; previous experience working in a large environmental or O&M firm is beneficial.Prior experience negotiating and contracting with public sector clients. BA/BS Degree in Business Management, Marketing, Environmental Sciences or Civil Engineering (preferred) or 10+ years’ experience in managing multiple projects.Knowledge of water/wastewater facilities. Working knowledge of OSHA requirements, DOT regulations, Utility SOPs, etc. Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications & internet. Ability to interpret analytical results.Communicates clearly & professionally. Contributes to a positive internal & external customer experience. Maintains composure in challenging situations.
