Regional Manager
**Description** **Essential Functions** + Actively support the Company’s commitment to safety and its “Core Values.” + Represent the Company at all times with high moral standards while adhering to the Company’s “Code of Business Conduct and Ethics.” + Maintain accountability for safety and keep employees safe. Conduct required evaluations pursuant to Safety Accountability Program. Actively promote and support company’s safety programs. Work with Senior Management and Shared Services to prepare goals, objectives, revenue projections, budgets and business plans for respective portfolio of work. + Accountable for the performance of the portfolio of work. + Represent Company at bid meetings, project meetings, strategy meetings, etc. as needed. Review/approve bid packages and proposals. + Apply and hold team accountable to company policies and procedures. + Work closely with other Operation leaders in the coordination of projects and sharing of resources. Ensure maximum operational efficiency and productivity within the business unit as a whole. + Review and analyze monthly and quarterly financial results for portfolio of work and present results to Senior Management. + Monitor aged receivables on a regular basis. Ensure timely collection of monies owed the company and participate in collection activities, as needed. + Interview, select, hire, train, evaluate and terminate subordinate personnel. Develop goals and objectives and work with staff throughout the year to ensure goals and performance standards are achieved. + Work closely with Business Development in the identification, pursuit and award of business opportunities, in line with strategic objectives. + Provide guidance and assistance to subordinate managers on operational issues; participate as needed in the resolution of problems on projects or with clients. + Maintain union relations, where applicable. Represent company in negotiations, meetings, or events, as needed or required. + Perform additional responsibilities, as directed. **Qualifications:** + 12+ years’ experience in operations or project management and Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related field, or equivalent experience without a degree. + Extensive experience in the industrial construction with emphasis in the MSHA regulated mining space.. + Proven track record of driving an incident free safety culture. + Extensive understanding of corporate and industry practices, processes and standards and their impact on project activities. + Advanced knowledge of construction, design, finance, and project management. + Advanced ability to apply innovative and effective management techniques to maximize performance. + Ability to work on multiple projects at one time, prepare complex proposals, and estimate all types and sizes of projects. + Excellent oral and written, and interpersonal communication skills. + Proficient computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Office applications such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook. **Physical/Special Requirements:** 1. Occasional overtime and frequent travel between field locations may be required in this position. Work involves standing and walking for brief periods of time, but most duties are performed from a seated position. Work may include occasional pushing, pulling or carrying objects weighing up to 20 pounds, such as files, documents and computer printouts.
