Regional Manager II - Retail Stores

The Regional Manager II role is an intense and fast-paced role within Gopuff that requires drive, grit, positivity, and enthusiasm for the challenge. In this role, you will lead a team of General Managers. Ultimately, the success of the territory rests on your shoulders and is determined by your ability to execute and effectively lead a team that is hyper-focused on delivering a perfect experience for our customers.
Gopuff takes pride in creative problem solving and in-person collaborating to make quick and informed decisions. This role will mostly be remote and include travel 3-4 times a week, where you will be able to showcase your creativity and build strong relationships with teams in a cross functional manner. The team is targeting someone currently located in the New York Metro.Responsibilities Support your territory team of local general managers in their daily efforts to ensure that we have the proper direction for managing day-to-day operations.Coach and develop team members in your sites to continue to improve while preparing them to take on new roles and responsibilities.Track daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly/annual metrics to measure success.Develop strategies to improve the experience that we deliver to our customers.Monitor Damaged and Expired products and goods.Maintain control of shrink by resolving any opportunities.Develop and oversee upward reporting to ensure HQ leadership is connected to the field.Serve as the liaison between department rollout, local territory execution and other department leadership partners.Remain knowledgeable of local competition that could impact the business.Acquire top talent through direct involvement in the interview, hiring, and on-boarding processEnsure your sites are operating at appropriate staffing levels and anticipate needs.Assist in the launch of new sites within your territory.Regionally-based leader dedicated to their territory.Have 10+ years of retail leadership experience and the having managed >25M in P&Ls.Immediate ResponsibilitiesDevelop a deep bench of talent by focusing on performance management and succession planning.Manage regulatory compliance and address any lapse within corporate policies or local laws.Can lead 10+ sites in 5+ states.Extensive travel and have a market presence 3-4 days a week.D&A and Business Development background preferred.$110,000 - $150,000 a yearAt Gopuff, we know that life can be unpredictable.
