Our client a National Retailer is searching for a Regional Manager for their KZN Division The successful candidate will be one who has experience at regional level with a retail chain as either Senior Area Manager or Regional Manager
Key Performance Areas
Driving turnover for region
Controlling expenses for region
Controlling stock losses
Managing and motivating staff
Competitor Analysis
Recruitment and Selection
Training staff
Managing merchandise
Handling of IR issues and Performance appraisals
Maximise profit for region
Manage merchandise profiles of stores
Ensure expenses are within budget
Liaise with buyers and merchandise managers on seasonal merchandise
Liaise with marketing for the marketing support into operations
Reports on all exceptions
Requirements
This position requires 7 to 10 years proven experience as either Area Manager Senior Area Manager or Regional Manager
Matric
Tertiary qualification would be advantageous
Valid Drivers Licence
Strong merchandising skills
Admin orientated
Organised and thorough
Profit driven individual
Peoples person
Have strong business acumen
Salary Market related
