Regional Manager - Operations, Northeast

What Depot Operations contributes to Velocare™  

Velocare relies on small-format facilities to operate our distributed supply chain solution. This role is responsible for overseeing a region of facilities, that perform a combination of manual and automated actions necessary for receiving, storage, and delivery of products and technology to patient’s homes and customer locations. Other functions performed include setting up new depots (layout design, shelf building, hiring), inventory management (ensuring inventory routines are consistently executed), OKR management, and getting your hands dirty when necessary. Location: Oversees the Northeast United States. Must live within driving distance of Peabody, MA, as travel there is required at minimum weekly.

Responsibilities 

Oversight of up to 8 depots, primarily in the Northeast United StatesLead up to 8 direct reports, with each of those direct reports leading hourly depot techniciansMonitor depot productivity, adhere to budgetary guidelines, and work to meet operational objectives and goals while maintaining quality standards. Recommends and implements programs, policies, and strategies to increase production and efficiency for facility and vehicle utilization.Continuous improvement mindsetResponsible for all aspects of the facility and vehicles for multiple sites, including maintenance and appearance.Implements and administers all regulatory compliance, policies, and procedures.Facilitates a strong customer relationship as the primary contact for designated markets. This includes ensuring quality service, prompt follow-through on customer correspondence, facilitating recurring market customer meetings, documenting and communicating performance to and improvement plans for achieving service level agreements.Handles general employee inquiries and resolves concerns.Responsible for supervisory and employee development, training, coaching, counseling, and performance appraisals.Maintains positive employee relations.Responsible for Cardinal Health compliance and regulations concerning OSHA, DEA, FDA, State and local authorities; primary facility contact for QRA compliance and initiatives.Given the 7 day/ wk, 365 day/yr operating schedule that is required by the customer, this position must be flexible with work schedule to enable consistent service. This includes occasionally working nights, weekends, holidaysTravel to depot locations based on business need

Qualifications

High school diploma/bachelors degree preferred5+ years’ experience in supervisory/management preferredStrong communication skills and highly organizedHighly proficient in MS Excel and MS PowerpointExperience managing team activities within a software application preferredProficient in managing teams virtually in multiple locationsSalesforce knowledge preferredLean Six Sigma certifications preferredAbility to interface with the customerWithin commuting distance of Boston, MA (more specifically Peabody, MA)30% regional travel
