Responsibilities Ensures the delivery of a comprehensive hospice volunteer program via corporate services and regional hospice volunteer coordinators. Reports key activities and outcomes related to volunteer program activity in assigned region and identifies and implements corrective action for performance or outcomes gaps. Supports survey assessment items related to volunteer program at assigned care centers. Monitors and ensures volunteer program activities and documentation complies with any state or federal regulations. Evaluates the volunteer program on an on-going basis and participates in QAPI activities. Continues to develop, expand and refine the delivery of volunteer services in response to feedback and changing needs. Engages with regional clinical leadership to understand opportunities to improve and develop volunteer program based on patient and clinician needs. Investigates and resolves complex complaints related to volunteer services in assigned region. Provides training to volunteer coordinator team on policies, procedures, tools and software used for volunteer training, activity tracking and documentation. Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, counseling and/or related field. Three years' experience in a related field. Must be familiar with general use and functions of computer; internet; e-mail; navigation/starting programs. Self-manage online HR services and training. Able to travel 50-75% of the time. This position will cover KS, MO, TX, OK, LA, NE, IA, OR, AZ, CA Preferred Master's degree in behavioral health or social science. One year supervisory experience.
