Regional Marketing Manager ( West)

You may just be the right candidate for this role, or another role and make your mark at Mill Creek._** The Regional Marketing Manager is responsible for leading marketing efforts for a portfolio of 25 to 35 apartment communities across multiple markets within the Western region. The Regional Marketing Manager will partner with Community and Regional Managers to drive leads and tours to communities, maintain/improve occupancy levels, and ensure integrity of the Modera, Amavi, Alister and Beckett brands. The Regional Marketing Manager will work closely with the Corporate Marketing and Communications Team and the Digital Marketing Team and report to the Regional Vice President of Property Marketing. This hybrid role requires working from one of our corporate offices at least two days per week. Potential markets and corresponding office locations include Phoenix, Salt Lake City, Portland, Northern California, Southern California, and Seattle. **Essential** **Functions/Responsibilities** + Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to support stabilized and lease-up communities in achieving budgeted occupancy. + Optimize digital presence, including but not limited to property websites, SEO, PPC, ILS (Internet Listing Services), and social media to maximize lead generation. + Identify and execute grassroots and hyper-local marketing initiatives tailored to each community’s target demographic. + Partner with site teams to ensure consistent execution of marketing strategies and brand messaging. + Monitor and analyze marketing performance metrics, including lead conversion rates, website traffic, digital ad performance, and occupancy trends in collaboration with Marketing Analyst. + Collaborate with marketing vendors and ad agencies to optimize marketing spend and campaign performance. + Conduct competitive market research to identify trends, positioning opportunities, and demand drivers for assigned communities. + Serve as the marketing expert and consultant for regional leadership, community teams, and onsite leasing associates. Stay current on rapidly changing marketing landscape. + Train and support leasing teams in utilizing marketing tools and local outreach strategies. + Work closely with internal teams, including Property Management, Digital Marketing, and Creative Services, to ensure strategic alignment. + Provide marketing guidance on new developments, including creating a comprehensive strategy, aligning on signage and branding, coordinating promotional efforts, and ensuring a cohesive marketing approach across all channels. + Manage and track marketing budgets for assigned communities, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to maximize ROI. + Ensure all marketing efforts comply with Mill Creek Residential brand standards and Fair Housing regulations. **Edu** **ca** **tion** **an** **d/or E** **x** **p** **e** **ri** **e** **n** **c** **e** + 5+ years of multifamily marketing experience in a regional marketing role. + Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business or Communications or related field preferred but not required. **Skills/Specialized Kn** **o** **w** **ledg** **e** + Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills. + CRM (Entrata and Yardi) a plus. + Highly organized with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. + Experience with project management tools (Smartsheet or Monday.com) is a plus. + Strong analytical and data interpretation skills, especially in Google Analytics and BI dashboards. **About the Benefits of joining the Mill Creek Team** + Competitive compensation + Comprehensive medical, dental and vision + Employer sponsored short and long term disability, Life and ADD insurance + 401k with employer matching + Paid time off benefits: Vacation, Sick, Holidays _Mill Creek is an Equal Opportunity Employer_ **Are you ready to contribute to the success of Mill Creek Residential?
