Athena Health Care Systems is hiring a regional float MDS Coordinator to join our dynamic care team in the Plymouth area!
Travel within assigned regions required. RN preferred. Can be an LPN. Weekly pay!

The ideal candidate with have a strong background in MDS assessments, care planning, CMI, PDPM, and compliance. The role requires a highly motivated individual who can travel across multiple facilities within the state to ensure consistent, high-quality MDS processes are implemented.
Education & Experience:
+ Must possess an active and unencumbered LPN or RN license to practice in Massachusetts.
+ Minimum of two (2) years experience in MDS including care planning, CMI, PDPM, and PPS processes.
Duties & Responsibilities:
+ Conduct MDS assessment and ensure accuracy and timeliness in accordance with state and federal regulations.
+ Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop comprehensive care plans.
+ Monitor and ensure compliance with CMS guidelines and regulations.
+ Provide support and training to facility staff on MDS processes as needed.
+ Act as a resource for resolving complex MDS-related issues across facilities.
+ Ensure optimal reimbursement through accurate completion of assessments.
Specific Requirements:
+ Knowledge of CMS regulations and RAI process.
+ Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
+ Must possess strong leadership and supervisory skills and independent decisions making skills.
+ Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel and the general public.
+ Must have training in long-term care administration and professional license.
+ Strong CMI and PDPM background.
