Are you a passionate psychiatric leader looking to drive innovation, quality, and excellence in psychiatric care? Join our dedicated team as a Regional Medical Director, where you'll play a key leadership role in shaping the future of behavioral health services.
In this pivotal position, you’ll collaborate closely with program directors in Behavioral Health Services (BHS) Division leadership to lead and support our staff of psychiatrists, nurse practitioners and nursing. You’ll ensure the highest quality of psychiatric care, provide direct clinical services to persons served, and champion service integration, patient safety, and risk management initiatives. Additionally, you’ll have the opportunity to contribute to organizational strategy, quality improvement efforts, and interdisciplinary collaborations that enhance patient outcomes.

Schedule: Full-Time, 40 hours with hybrid opportunities
+ On-site presence needed between 4 Outpatient locations: Cambridge, Lynnfield, Newton, and Somerville

Required Skills
+ Thorough and current knowledge of psychopharmacology and medication assisted treatment
+ Intermediate to Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Word products, electronic health records, etc.
+ Ability to communicate well both verbally and in writing in language that can be readily understood by the majority of programs’ staff, funders and people served
+ Ability to effectively perform job responsibilities in fast paced, high stress environment
+ Valid driver’s license and regular access to a reliable vehicle
Required Experience
+ Current licensure and certification by the American Board of Psychiatry in Adult Psychiatry required.
+ Current license and certification by the America Board of Psychiatry in and Child/Adolescent Psychiatry strongly preferred.
+ Minimum of two years of practice as a psychiatrist, post board certification required.
+ Current DEA licensure required.
+ Experience working with people with serious and persistent mental illness required and substance use challenges
+ Prior experience providing clinical supervision required.
