Regional Operations Manager

The Regional Manager of Operations will lead the operations strategy across the Charlotte subregion in the South Atlantic Region of the Atlantic Division Diagnostics Segment. A successful candidate will work with teams composed of internal stakeholders and outside vendors as needed to ensure the strategy and execution across the region. He or she will define a broad operational strategy and have a strong focus on achieving optimization and efficiencies as it relates to all areas including logistics, accessioning, supplies, facilities, and lab management.

Hours of Work: 1st shift Monday-Friday

Responsibilities:

Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the region with a global goal of advancing strategy, establishing culture, developing talent, and advancing operations with an emphasis on quality, customer service, productivity and efficiencyOverall accountability for facilities management, logistics, supplies and accessioning.  Play an integral role in the development and execution of the region's growth strategyOversee the lab operations for multiple locations in SC and GA to ensure that we are exceeding all quality measures as well as standards necessary to maintain current and future certifications.  This includes supervision of lab management, collaboration with QA, and interacting with medical directors to ensure compliance with all regulatory standards. Develop, oversee and provide support to a team of managers across all functional areasMonitor the monthly productivity of a designated region and report any deviationsManage the productivity of direct reports using various performance metricsWork collaboratively with the sales team to support region’s growthEstablish strong working client relationships by delivering Market Leading Service.Develop a positive work environment and drive employee engagement to improve performance and reduce employee turnover.Continuously monitor the productivity of the operations team to ensure optimizationReview the staffing models to address inefficiencies and implement changes when necessaryDrive employee, customer and patient satisfaction ensuring timely responses to all mattersMonitor the overtime & agency spend and overall budget on a regular basisAssist with the leasing of new locations in a designated areaMaintain the required staffing levels to meet performance targets and ensure staff is properly trainedWork cross functionally within the division to create efficiencies and improve productionProvide recognition, feedback and constructive criticism to the entire teamAddress and resolve any customer or client related issues in a timely manner

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree is preferredMinimum 5 years of experiencePrior experience in the laboratory diagnostics industry preferredWorking knowledge of the operational, accessioning, and logistics functional areas preferredSuccessful experience with business development and customer interactionAbility to manage a large, decentralized teams as well as customer and vendor relationshipsPrior experience in supply chain and operations managementExperience with managing costs and the overall budgetStrong leadership, development, organizational and time management skillsAbility to troubleshoot any customer related issues and provide solutions in a timely mannerExcellent communication skills; both written and oralAbility to travel as requiredMust have a Valid Driver's LicenseProficient in MS Office
