Regional Parts Operations Specialist

This individual must effectively provide strategic parts operations support to all assigned RDO Equipment Co. locations. This ensures that the desired customer satisfaction level is met along with achieving the company asset management goals. A common working knowledge of inventory management performance standards such as customer fill ratios, inventory turn ratio and obsolescence management Is required. 

 

Specific Duties Include:

• Process and review daily/weekly stock orders for primary vendors. 

• Utilize John Deere Prism for all John Deere orders, surplus returns and capitalize on all of the strategic reporting provided.

• Partner with our John Deere Retail Parts Management Representative. 

• Prepare and coordinate pre-season and John Deere Best Buy orders. 

• Process and facilitate internal store stock transfers. 

• Process and prepare monthly surplus returns for primary vendors. 

• Facilitate regular meetings with assigned locations to discuss current strategies and opportunities. 

• Provide business system assistance and training of parts team members for assigned locations.  

• Monitor Parts Inventory Performance Standards for assigned stores and work with Management Team to help meet performance expectations.  

• Follow all safety rules and regulations while performing work assignments and adhere to all policies and procedures as specified in company manuals and as directed in the employee handbook. 

• Conduct self in the presence of customers and community so as to present a professional image of RDO Equipment Co. 

• Proactively seek and participate in available company-sponsored training, in an effort to develop and advance knowledge base and skill set.

• Participate in all company/location driven communication efforts, including open book meetings, huddles, department meetings and other related efforts.

• Maintain a positive and professional working relationship with peers, management, and support resources, with a constant commitment to teamwork and exemplary customer service.

• Perform all other duties as assigned by management in a professional and efficient manner.

Job Requirements:

• Previous parts inventory management experience preferred

• Experience in customer service preferred

• Demonstrate computer skills in Microsoft Word and Excel

• Candidates must have valid work authorization and be able to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship.
