ABOUT THE POSITION

As the People Generalist for TKWW, based in Brazil and reporting to the People Director LATAM, you will be responsible for providing HR support across Latin America. This role is essential in ensuring compliance with local employment laws, driving HR initiatives that enhance employee engagement, and supporting regional compensation and benefits processes. You will also partner closely with Total Rewards, Legal & Payroll teams to support policy development, and ensure the seamless execution of HR processes in the region.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Total Rewards & Compensation Support: Partner with the Total Rewards and Payroll teams to efficiently implement compensation and benefits programs, including merit reviews, bonus planning, promotions, and special adjustments. Compensation Surveys: Responsible for managing compensation and benefits surveys. This includes comparing company positions to surveyed roles, submitting salary and benefits data, and analyzing survey feedback to support external competitiveness and company remuneration policies. HR Regional Support: Provide comprehensive HR support to employees in Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Mexico, and Peru, ensuring compliance with local employment laws and regulations. Payroll Administration: Oversee employee data inputs for payroll (new hires, changes, leaves), ensuring compliance across LATAM countries. Onboarding & Employee Life Cycle: Lead full-cycle onboarding efforts, including checking documentation, ordering benefits, and adding new hires to HR and payroll systems. Manage employee separation processes, including voluntary and involuntary terminations and conducting exit interviews. Employee Relations: Serve as a trusted advisor to employees and managers, addressing employee relations issues and providing guidance on HR policies to foster a positive and engaging work environment. Compliance & Legal Guidance: Ensure compliance with employment laws in Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Mexico, and Peru. Manage immigration and employment-related issues and provide guidance on legal requirements, ensuring that HR policies across the region align with local and global practices. Policy Development & Change Management: Support the development and implementation of HR policies across the region and assist with change management initiatives. Ensure policies support employee engagement and organizational goals. Health & Safety: Implement and manage occupational health and safety programs in accordance with national legislation. HR Systems Management: Maintain and optimize HR systems to ensure data accuracy and efficiency across the LATAM region. Employee Benefits Administration: Handle the monthly administration of employee benefits, including processing new hires and terminations, ordering benefit payments, and ensuring smooth benefits transitions.

 

SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATES HAVE:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. At least 4 years of experience in a Human Resources-related field, with a strong focus on regional HR support. Proficiency in Portuguese (Brazilian), with a good level of English and Spanish. Understanding of employment laws in Brazil and Mexico or Colombia. Experience managing compensation, benefits, payroll processes, and HR systems across LATAM countries. Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving skills, and a proactive approach to HR challenges. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and guide diverse teams. Detail-oriented, with a proven ability to execute HR processes accurately and on time. A track record of supporting regional HR operations in a multi-country context. Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under tight deadlines.
