TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Properly identifies patients and correct use of phlebotomy methods (venipuncture, skin puncture) Drives personal vehicle to client facilities, typically nursing homes or government sponsored or sanctioned as directed by company dispatcher. Accurately collects, labels, processes, and delivers specimens obtained from patients. Reloads equipment and all necessary specimens to vehicle for prompt delivery. Regularly communicates with dispatcher to report status and location. Strict adherence to Universal Precautions in controlling blood-borne pathogens and infectious disease exposures. Maintain required certifications, health requirements, and operational requirements. Support regional leadership to conduct interview for hiring additional teammembers Assist with training newly hired phlebotomists and asses skill level Assist regional leadership with any administrative duties needed
