= Objectives =
To implement strategy of Non-Ionic Surfactants (NIS) product portfolio in Asia, and support NIS business growth (focus on Zhanjiang Verbund Site Project ZVSP) by adding value according to regional targets and strategies
Maximize margin and utilization of assets by identifying business potentials together with Sales, Industry Marketing.
To support the country sales teams to achieve the set targets in-line with Strategic Business Unit (SBU) strategies
= Main Tasks =
Jointly develop and implement product strategies with Marketing
Define price limits, considering competitive environment and value proposition, and approve below limit prices
Price management: Price maintenance & Customer Success Platform (CSP) approval in price tool.
Margin Management: Maximize consolidated contribution margin (cCM1) by minimizing variable cost and by defined optimal pricing guidelines.
Allocate volumes per channel in times of shortages based on defined criteria
Decide on product portfolio in collaboration with Industry Marketing, take decisions on portfolio streamlining and extensions
Benchmarking & competitor monitoring in order to continuously improve product portfolio & services as well as production footprint
Analyze raw material markets and supply/demand balances in order to define optimal pricing and to identify investment opportunities
Maximize cCM1 by minimizing variable cost and by defining optimal pricing guidelines and help to minimize local manufacturing fixed cost
Maximize utilization of BASF Integrated Site Guangdong (BIG) assets by identifying business potentials together with Sales, Industry Marketing
= Job Requirements =
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Chemistry or relevant discipline
Minimum 3 years in Marketing, Sales or related function
Good understanding of BASF products and related applications
Technical know-how on how to develop strategies
Sound communication and presentation skills in English
Knowledge about Chemical industry is preferred
