Responsibilities:

Regional Product Manager - AMS - Hytrel, Vamac needed by Celanese Polymer Products, LLC in Irving, TX [and various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S.; may work from home] to participate in the development of global product line strategy and differential management system to represent unique regional needs and lead the execution of the strategy within the region. Provide direction and instruction for day to day product line work. Define strategic direction of the business and product line. Facilitates cross-functional involvement, communication, and execution. Contribute to the development and reconciliation of Product Road Map by ensuring specific regional needs or inputs are reflected. Participate in integrated business management Product Step to represent regional needs and requirements and to help execute product introductions, phase outs, and changes within the region. Plan, direct, and implement product management activities for products and product category. Work with Global PLMs, Supply Chain, and region to develop the short-term and long-term sourcing plan. Provide regional input to short-term supply chain decisions including trade-offs, hardships, allocation, and inventory management. Direct the development and evaluation of pricing strategies and structures. Use profit maps to work with appropriate functions within the region to explore trade-offs, develop hypotheses, and take decisions to improve profitability. Provide understanding of product profitability for pricing and market participation decisions within the region. Manage product development programs and perform portfolio analysis. Define research through evaluation and compilation of the market product requirements regarding capacity, quality, and service. Identify when product strategies or differential management systems need updating. Designate future product development needs and manufacturing requirements related to capacity, quality, and service. Manage annual planning cycles to develop required inputs to the budgeting process. Partner with marketing and sales to use profitability insights to close gaps on low profitability accounts and explore price and volume trade-offs to grow

overall contribution. Asses competitive products and develop strategies to improve product offerings. Collect and monitor key product performance measures for the region and work with the regional team to understand and develop actions to address performance gaps. Oversee quality of production on regional assets and address quality issues that impact regional customers. Drive sales development at aggressively Invest to grow accounts and strategy in the region with focus working on polymers, thermoplastics, elastomers and specialties business. Apply Master Black Belt Top Line Growth knowledge. Work on project lead of integration-separation projects. Work on global supply chain management, manufacturing processes, and business planning processes. Work on sales operations and logistics global management. Apply finance, cost, sales, accounting, and credit functions knowledge. Manage teams across the globe. Work as a corporate leadership team member.

 

Qualifications:

REQUIREMENTS: Requires a Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent degree, in Business Administration, Business Management, or Operations Management and 3 years of experience in the job offered or 3 years of experience in a related occupation performing each of the following: working on global supply chain management, manufacturing processes, and business planning processes; working on sales operations and logistics global management; managing product development programs and portfolio analysis; defining research through evaluation and compilation on the market product requirements regarding capacity, quality, and service; assessing competitive products and developing strategies to improve product offerings; applying Master Black Belt Top Line Growth knowledge; working on project lead of integration-separation projects; applying finance, cost, sales, accounting, and credit functions knowledge; managing teams across the globe; and working as a corporate leadership team member. Regional Product Manager - AMS - Hytrel, Vamac earn between $168,705 to $211,900 yearly.
