Job Description

The Regional Recruiting Manager is responsible for the development of campus and/or regional recruiting strategy for hourly and Operational Supervisor recruiting (sourcing, reviewing, screening, scheduling, hiring, orientation).When recruiting for Operations Supervisors, this individual will partner with the Talent Acquisition Team to ensure adherence to set recruiting policies, procedures and service level agreements. The Regional Recruiting Manager will also be responsible for training and evaluation of associates and classroom instruction.


• Lead the campus/regional staffing team.

• Work with regional/local management teams and Human Resources to identify staffing levels, future talent gaps, and recruitment plans for hourly and Operation Supervisor roles.

• Conduct audits to ensure all recruitment and sourcing strategies meet federal and state regulatory requirements.

• Develop and build recruiting resources, relationships, and networking activities to attract qualified employees interested in hourly and Operation Supervisor roles.

• Monitor and facilitate relationships with local temporary labor services.

• Manage job fair schedule, networking events and community outreach which includes veterans, diversity, and disability candidate's providers while promoting the organization in the local community

• Evaluate market conditions and ensure candidate pool pipeline stays at appropriate levels to accommodate anticipated demand during seasonal, start-up and calm state business cycles.

• Supervision of the day-to-day operations for recruitment and sourcing, including regular coaching and development.

• Create on line vacancies folderto document the selection process, monitor vacancy folders throughout the hiring process; closing the vacancy and reviewing to ensure the files are complete.

• Review submitted applications and/or resumes for applicant job fit.

• Interview (phone screen or in-person) qualified applicants.

• Review results of hourly pre-employment testing

• Schedule candidates for interviews with hiring managers.

• Verify employment qualifications, including background checks and drug screens.

• Prepare offer letter and launch/monitor pre-hire paperwork in the system.

• Review and escalate background/drug screen issues following the escalation process.

• Schedule and facilitate new hire orientation.

• Create effective training presentation and be able to present material to associates.

• Create Standard Operating Procedures for high level overview at the customer level.

• Effective initial training and cross training of associates and outside workers.

• Support Operations training as needed.

Required Education and Experience

• Bachelor Degree in business or human resources or related field or 1-2 years HR experience, required

• 1-3 years general HR experience, required

• 1-3 years high volume recruiting, preferred

• 2-3 years experience in Logistics/Supply Chain, preferred
