Regional Retail Manager

Overview

The Regional Retail Manager is responsible for overseeing the operations of multiple retail stores within a designated geographic area. This role requires strong leadership, strategic planning, and operational management to ensure the stores achieve their sales targets, maintain high levels of customer satisfaction, and operate efficiently. By building outstanding teams, the Regional Retail Manager holds teams accountable to meeting/exceeding financial and business goals across their portfolio of stores. It is expected that the Regional Retail Manager will spend up to 70% of their time in the field. This role reports to the Vice President of Retail Operations and partners closely with the Sr. Manager, Retail Operations.

Job Responsibilities:

Selling

Create a winning sales culture to drive profitability through analysis of business trends and impact on customers and team results. Align teams to achieve organizational goals by communicating an inspirational vision. Ensure consistent utilization of the Zwilling CUSTOMER service model and Clienteling with store teams. Build partnerships within the local community to increase brand awareness, sales, and increase foot traffic. Consistently implement brand initiatives to achieve brand selling programs. Create an energized atmosphere and motivate the team to prioritize the customer above all to meet/exceed goals. Train, educate and role model brand selling behaviors; monitor and coach teams to continuously improve selling opportunities. View customers through an omni channel lens and develop strategies to drive incremental sales through Drop Ship. Clearly communicate business goals, KPIs and expectations to the team.

Operations

Monitor, measure, and report on financial, operational people, and customer service results; hold teams accountable for achieving regional goals Proactively analyze regional business trends and create action plans to deliver desired results Manage expenses to achieve regional profitability including payroll and other store expenses. Utilize tools, resources and information to drive results and enhance the customer experience; utilize reports and data to drive productivity Understand reasons behind business practices and policies and communicate this to the team Routinely visit stores to ensure adherence to standards Partner with Inventory Management and Store Operations to support initiatives that ensure stores are well-stocked, prevent stockouts or overstock situations, and manage shrink goals Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.

Brand

Responsible for executing the look and feel of all stores in the region as outlined by the VP of Retail Operations; understands floor capacity and store layout Collaborate with operations and marketing teams to execute promotional campaigns and events across stores. Implement local marketing strategies to increase foot traffic and sales. Support and monitor merchandising and visual strategies to stores, ensuring store and products are organized and aligned with corporate direction Collaborate and build rapport with peers and business partners throughout the organization to share best practices and solve business issues Ensure successful store standards are cascaded and implemented successfully in all stores.

Team

Continually assess succession plans; use resources to retain and develop a talent pipeline for future growth Provide direct, honest and timely feedback, both positive and constructive to team members and business partners to drive accountability and growth Create an environment where everyone is treated with respect and values differences in people and ideas Conduct regular performance reviews and address any performance issues or concerns. Partner with the VP of Retail and HR Business Partner to resolve employee relation concerns promptly

Qualifications:

Essential skills and experience:

progressively responsible management and multi-unit experience in a retail environment. Proven track record of increasing sales and store profitability. Experience in revenue generation including the ability to analyze P&L and financial reports, ensuring key performance metrics are met. Strong skills in management strategy, staffing, performance management, associate relations, and associate development. Leadership and partnership that will inspire associate engagement and customer loyalty with the communities in which we serve and operate. Proficient in retail management software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant tools. Ability to travel up to 70% of the time.

Physical Requirements

Standing for majority of the shift (potentially up to 12 hours) Repeatedly bending, reaching, stretching, kneeling, and climbing ladders Lifting, carrying and moving items up to 40 pounds

Work Schedule Requirements

Available when needed including nights, weekends, and holidays in addition to our peak business periods such as holiday season (November and December); ability to work a flexible schedule Ability to travel up to 4 days per week, including overnight as required May be required to work opening, mid or closing shifts, depending on store business and staffing needs.

Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related experience in the field
