Regional Sales Director

What the day will look like + Develop and implement a Sales strategy to surpass revenue and client acquisition goals. Drive Sales Excellence and lead the sales process from prospecting to closing deals, ensuring a strong pipeline of new business for the local Large Market, MNC and SME segments working with Health Solutions sales colleagues. + Collaborate with local market sales and regional colleagues to identify and leverage opportunities to increase new business via supporting the conversion of those identified prospects into clients in conjunction with appropriate local market and regional colleagues (RBM, IPL’s etc..). + Drive consistent delivery of Aon Health Solutions client experience, value proposition, and delivery of tailored solutions to meet client needs. + Where required take a leading role in managing responses to large market tenders and developing quality presentation, by working with the relevant country and regional expertise. Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in target organizations. + Monitor market trends and competition to adapt sales strategies and identify new business opportunities. + Mentor and support local market sales teams, providing guidance on best practices and sales techniques. + Contribute to the overall strategic sales planning process to help shape the business direction in the region. + Developing Aon United opportunities by ensuring that local country colleagues demonstrate a strong Aon IQ and an ability to help solve clients’ needs, with a particular focus on Health, Wealth and Human Capital Solutions. Helping to facilitate Aon United sales activities across solution lines and actively working with Enterprise Client group, SAMs, Sales colleagues/services. + Following the Aon sales process protocols, including clearly defined sales strategy and activity, accurate pipeline reporting updates through Aon Connect usage and compliance with marketing and branding standards. + Be an active participant and contributor at the Commercial Council, local country sales forums. + Assist Commercial Leader Asia with the Asia Sales and Pipeline monthly meetings to identify key ‘must win’ multi-market opportunities. Additional responsibilities: + Where required be an active participant and contributor to the local country sales forums (OpCo’s) + Be an active participant and contributor to the regional Commercial Office & Council (as required) + Performing other duties and tasks as reasonably assigned by your manager and members of the Regional Leadership Team + Contributing, as required to various Health Solutions Asia initiatives and other leadership forums. + Connecting the Asia country teams with regional colleagues, to bring the best of Aon to our clients and prospects. + Maintaining a continual professional development standard through Aon University and any other industry driven licensing (not relevant if not providing client advice) or educational requirements + On-going adherence with the Aon Leadership Model (ALM) behaviours Skills and experience that will lead to success + Proven track record of success in sales leadership, particularly in employee benefits, insurance, or a related field. • Strong experience in creating and executing sales strategies that deliver measurable results. + Exceptional client relationship and business development skills. + Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams across different markets. + Strong understanding of the employee health and benefits landscape + Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. + Ability to travel regionally as needed.
