Regional Sales Director/First Line Manager - Remote - 2669633

The Regional Sales Director (RSD) will be responsible for first line management of the Customer Experience Managers (CXM) for Synvisc-One/Synvisc (a buy and bill and specialty pharmacy product) in alignment with a company’s vision, value, and goals. The RSD will represent Sanofi Joint Health as a leader in the healthcare industry through demonstration and provision of dependable and credible education, information, and professional assistance. The Regional Sales Director is a high level first line manager role responsible for the oversight of a team of Customer Experience Managers (CXM) who will be promoting approved client products within key institutions, IDN’s etc. He/she will also be responsible for delivering on all contractual obligations, as well as personnel, and operational requirements. The RSD will report to the NSD and will work across the IQVIA organization and collaborate both internally and with the client to ensure all sales goals are met. **Essential Duties & Responsibilities:** + Recruit, interview, and hire CXM’s + Develop and lead team to execute regional business plans and develop regional business strategies to meet client regional and national objectives + Responsible for performance management, as well as development and retention of CXMs + Provide training, coaching, follow-up, and development of CXMs in all phases of their work in the field and virtually + Act as a link between client and IQVIA for operational and Human Resources needs + Assist with the planning and delivery of training and client meetings to inform, train, and motivate CXMs + Review and approve expense reports; monitor compliance with expense policies as required. + Monitor compliance regarding proper and appropriate use of approved client resources + Keep current on relevant matters including industry, client, and IQVIA business, policies, and procedures **Education, Experience, & Other Requirements:** + Minimum of a bachelor’s degree (B. A. or B.S.) from a four-year accredited college or university + 5+ years’ experience in Pharmaceutical/Medical Sales industry + 3+ years Sales leadership experience required + Key Account Management experience (e.g. experience in a hospital, Long Term Care, or Business to Business) required + 1+ year of Buy & Bill experience required + Contracting experience with IDNs and hospitals + Preferred Experience: + Experience working with a CSO preferred + Previous experience in the visco supplement market + Strong technological skills with an ability to demonstrate effective leadership and selling skills via virtual platforms + Ability to effectively communicate directly with the client to ensure that all goals and objectives are being met + Strong business acumen and ability to clearly and concisely convey and report detailed information to internal sales management, as well as the client + Ability to work cross-functionally within a team environment + Ability to travel as needed **Knowledge, Skills, & Core Competencies:** + Strong Leadership and planning and organization skills + Excellent analytical and creative problem-solving abilities + Strong attention to detail with ability to prioritize/multi-task + Demonstrates integrity, sound judgment, and excellent decision-making abilities + Collaborative and adaptable + Thrives in ambiguous situations + Customer orientation & customer focus + Accountability + Excellent written and oral communication skills + Good technical skills and proficiency with Excel, Word, PowerPoint (Microsoft Office) **What’s in it for you?** IQVIA offers a wide array of benefits to support our employees and their families. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time).
