Position Summary:
Armand de Brignac Champagne is seeking a high caliber candidate for our Regional Sales Director position. This role will be responsible for the management of 10 Southeast states; TN, NC, SC, LA, MS, AL, GA, FL, VA, WV; delivering results through a carefully planned sales strategy: focusing on profit, volume goals and brand positioning.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Distributors management:Communicate brand goals, evaluate distributors’ performance and conduct quarterly business review meetings
State performance monitoring and monthly reviews:Depletions, shipments, accounts sold, programming, pricing
Develop brand plans and execution in each market, including brand activations and events planningAnnual and monthly case goals submission by type and sizeCreate target account lists: identify new opportunities and design action plans for accounts lostCoordinate introduction meetings with the distributors and General Sales MeetingsDevelop relationships with the distribution network: from VPs /GMs levels to sales representatives and purchasing managersDevelop and maintain strong and effective relationships with key buyers in all channelsBrand education, training, and guidance: luxury positioning, menu pricing and programming, BTG offering, POSM display and usageNegotiate brand’s sales priority months within distributors’ quarterly calendars and build sales incentives to support state goalsManage A&P and T&E budgets in the regionRegular travel to the markets, conducting trade accounts’ visits and in-person distributors’ meetingsQualifications:
Must have at least 5-10 years distributor and supplier wine and spirits sales experience within this territoryWine sales experience and wine credentials with certifications a plusBachelor’s Degree or commensurate experience desiredComputer literate with a fluent knowledge of MS Office for reporting and presentationsStrong distributor management experience and strong negotiation skillsMust be responsible, self-motivated and outgoingStrong organizational skills and effective time management with territory calls and visitsMust have valid United States driver’s licenseAbility to lift up to 35 poundsExisting multi-state account relationships desiredMust reside in one of the Southeast states listedBenefits
