Regional Sales Manager | Contractor Industrial Supply

About Our Opportunity: The Regional Sales Manager drives sales and profit growth in his/her assigned region. The RSM works closely with current independent sales representatives, distributors, prospective distributors, wholesalers, and internal channel partners to meet or exceed sales goals. This key individual drives results through prospecting, training, and developing effective sales processes and programs.  Key Job Responsibilities: + Meets or beats monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals. + Recruits and signs new distributors in accordance with annual goals. + Leverages Chervon’s Resources to provide training and sales support for distributors and sales representatives in his/her region. + Works closely with regional distributors to grow their business.  Activities include, but are not limited to, ride-a-longs, training, open houses, and sales support. + Manages manufacture rep agencies and representative relationships. + Attends distributor and wholesaler shows, national and regional trade shows and meetings and events promoting Chervon products. + Fully supports the Chervon brand marketing initiatives at the distributor and wholesale level. + Provides channel feedback to Chervon regarding product performance, marketing initiative acceptance and competitive intelligence gathering. + Implements Key Account plans/strategic planning with key distributors and wholesalers. + Manages time and travel schedule to provide the most efficient and effective productivity while managing costs. + Builds long-term relationships with new and existing accounts. + Builds trust and respect with customers by utilizing the utmost integrity. + Perform other duties as required. Required Education and Experience: + Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Regional Manager or similar role in a distributor environment + Key Account Responsibilities. + Forecasting and Analytics experience. + STAFDA Channel experience a benefit. + Proven sales track record; drives expectations within the region. + Strong negotiation skills. + Excellent communication skills including strong training skills. + Customer focused for region results. + Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and CRM/Salesforce. + Strong financial aptitude. + A bachelor's degree in Business or related field required. Supervisory Responsibility: Manages a team of 15-20 independent reps. Travel: This position requires 40-50% travel within a defined region. Salary Range: Base salary range $110k-$130k with additional bonus opportunities. Work Environment: Chervon North America operates in a casual and fun environment.
