\n\nJob Overview:
\nWe are seeking highly motivated and results-driven Regional Sales Managers to join our team. The successful candidates will be responsible for securing and managing new regional and local account business through a hunting sales approach within the freight forwarding and logistics industry. The focus will be on Air, Ocean, Warehousing/Distribution, and 3PL services.
Responsibilities:
\n\n\n\t\n\tSecure and manage new regional/local account business through proactive sales strategies.
\n\t\n\t\n\tContinuously grow new business by maintaining strong relationships with mid-level management and key decision-makers in the Semiconductor, Automotive, Electronics, and other industry verticals.
\n\t\n\t\n\tAchieve quarterly and annual revenue targets in overall territory and individual account targets.
\n\t\n\t\n\tDevelop and execute strategic sales initiatives, including qualifying opportunities, identifying key decision-makers, and offering tailored solutions.
\n\t\n\t\n\tConduct a minimum of 60 direct customer calls, web meetings, or face-to-face meetings per month.
\n\t\n\t\n\tProvide coaching and conduct joint sales calls with Regional Sales Director, Department Managers, and Branch Managers for additional support as needed.
\n\t\n\t\n\tMaintain personal contact with large key accounts to ensure customer satisfaction.
\n\t\n\t\n\tResearch customer needs and offer solutions in an effective and timely manner.
\n\t\n\t\n\tAnalyze competition and determine market strategies to overcome sales obstacles using relevant data.
\n\t\n\t\n\tResearch and create lists of potential customers to determine market opportunities.
\n\t\n\t\n\tEvaluate product and service marketability based on customer needs and industry trends.
\n\t\n\t\n\tStay up to date on the latest industry trends and emerging markets to expand sales targets.
\n\t\n\t\n\tEstablish and maintain industry contacts that lead to sales opportunities.
\n\t\n\t\n\tCollaborate with Regional Director/AGM, Branch Management, Department Managers, Customer Service, and Operations staff to establish clear communication for handling new customers
\n\t\n\n\nQualifications:
\n\n\n\t\n\tStrong self-motivation and strategic focus, with the ability to quickly identify key decision-makers and opportunities.
\n\t\n\t\n\tMinimum of 3 years of experience in hunting sales within the freight forwarding/logistics industry.
\n\t\n\t\n\tExceptional communication skills, with the ability to conduct corporate meetings and executive presentations with C-level positions.
\n\t\n\t\n\t5+ years of experience in general management concepts such as planning, accounting, administration, and economics.
\n\t\n\t\n\tProven ability to close business and clearly identify short- and long-term sales opportunities.
\n\t\n\t\n\tHigh-level negotiation skills, with experience in contract and process negotiations.
\n\t\n\t\n\tStrong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
\n\t\n\t\n\tOnly applicants meeting these minimum qualifications will be considered.

\n\n\n\t\n\tAchieve annual revenue target.
\n\t\n\t\n\tConduct a minimum of 15 sales visits per week and obtain at least 5 quotes per week.
\n\t\n\t\n\tUpdate Target Account list (report) and Salesforce CRM on a weekly basis.
\n\t\n\t\n\tReport new business acquired on a monthly basis.
\n\t\n\t\n\tAttend and report on sales activity weekly via web meeting or in person.
\n\t\n\t\n\tDemonstrate continuous commitment and persistence in closing new business.
\n\t\n\n\nGeneral Requirements:
\n\n\n\t\n\tEducation: Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, economics, or equivalent experience.
\n\t\n\t\n\tLicensing: Valid state driver’s license (required for face-to-face meetings, site visits, and achieving sales targets).
\n\t\n\t\n\tStrong communication and teamwork skills.
\n\t\n\t\n\tAbility to multitask and prioritize various projects.
\n\t\n\t\n\tAbility to influence in a matrix environment.
\n\t\n\n\nPatience and ability to navigate complex processes involving multiple levels of approval.
