Regional Sales Manager
Overview CORT Events is seeking a dynamic Regional Sales Manager for our Northeast region that can coach, motivate, and drive performance for our Account Executives. This position is also eligible for an annual bonus. This role can be remote based in the North Eastern region of the US and should anticipate travel of up to 50%. Serve as direct supervisor of the account executives in your assigned region of geographic responsibility Promote and cross-sell other TSE capabilities. Develop, support and promote strong TSE district relationships amongst your team. Hire/Train/Motivate qualified candidates to ensure national consistency in sales performance Conduct Quarterly (at least) visits to all reporting Account Executives Conduct weekly Conference Calls with your team – set agenda and coordinate Work with reporting account executives to develop strong strategic plans, organizational, communication, and market coverage/penetration skills. Actively participate in appropriate local and national industry-related associations: ILEA, MPI, ADMEI, and NACE. Consistently promote CORT Event Furnishings as the high-quality answer to specialty furniture needs of the Live Events industry, nationwide. Serve as a member of the Group Executive Committee to assure clear corporate communications regarding the company vision and the focus on national goals and objectives. Sell & manage, in cooperation with the Vice President of Operations. Assist in the development of a National Event Marketing programs Provide effective communication of sales strategies and AE development plans to DGM, Area Managers and GEC. Create realistically aggressive annual revenue budgets for your team Identify and execute individual territory strategic initiatives based on market opportunities and known competitive advantages Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree Minimum of 6 years in hospitality sales management, B2B sales experience, and management over large geographical area Outstanding leadership and people management skills; at least 5 years managerial experience Able to demonstrate history of exceeding sales goals with teamExcellent communication and negotiation skills Excellent communication and negotiation skills Able to travel up to 50% across over assigned region Must have valid state driver’s license and safe driving record.
