Great Day Improvements LLC, an innovator and leader in the home remodeling market is currently seeking a driven and motivated Regional Sales Manager to lead our Sales teams in our PACIFIC NORTHWEST REGION. This region includes offices in WASHINGTON & OREGON. Regional Sales Manager is required to travel up 25 week per year within the region. The Regional Sales Mnagaer will be required to conduct up to 300 In Home Ride Alongs with Sales Representatives. Great Day Improvements is a vertically integrated company who designs, manufactures, sells and installs the Patio Enclosures™ sunroom and Stanek™ window products. The compesation structure is a Base Salary and Bonus.
This is a high-level management position.
Responsibilities• Direct responsibility for sales performance in assigned region.
• Conduct sales ride-a-longs with all sales reps to understand training and development needs, and to provide insight for the improvement of sales process
• Champion the sales process within the company and branch organizations
• Travel to markets as needed to conduct training and coaching and assist with new rep on-boarding
• Assist sales reps in preparation of proposals and presentations
• Prepare action plans for individuals as well as locations to improve sales performance to attain company goals
• Work with General Managers to ensure they are following sales management best practices (sales meetings, ride-a-longs, sales recap reviews, customer follow-up)
• Assist in sales lead distribution and show schedules to ensure proper scheduling and appropriate distribution
• Review job costings to ensure sales reps are applying proper discounts and adequate profit margins are obtained on quotes and sales
• Assist in the recruiting, hiring, appraisal, disciplining, and termination of all sales personnel
• Adhere to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes and ensure that they are communicated and implemented within the team
• Excellent Oral and written communication skills
• Consultative selling skills
• Ability to understand and apply market intelligence to sales strategy
• Staff consulting and relationship building skills
• Ability to use technology and analysis tools (Excel, Outlook, web, databases)
• Executive presence to influence senior decision-makers
• Minimum of ten years of In-home selling to the residential market.
• Experience in the home improvement industry preferred
• Ability to travel – 50%-60%
