What You’ll do
As a Region Sales Manager you will be responsible for ensuring that all store-level power equipment sales teams and sales consultants are trained to sell applicable products, are following established standard operating procedures, and are aware of and meeting/exceeding budgeted sales goals. Applicable product classes include, but are not limited to: Tractors, Tractor attachments & implements, Lawn Mowers, Log Splitters, Trailers, Power Sport Equipment and all related accessories and parts.
Teach and ensure compliance with developing and establishing operational procedures. This support will be provided mostly onsite at assigned stores. Specific areas include:Demonstrate, document, and distribute procedures to properly display product and equipment to optimize appearance, and to project credibility to potential customersDevelop and disseminate retail financing procedures, from the application process, document generation, signatures, submission and filing to ensure accuracy, compliance with customer privacy and expedited funding from partner finance companiesDevelop and disseminate proper CRM procedures using our Salesforce CRM platform, including but not limited to collecting personal information, order submission and tracking, pre-deilvery inspections, inventory management, warranty registration, repair and service tracking, etc.Teach sales closing skills and the techniques to qualify buyers and properly match equipment to their needsDevelop and disseminate competitive comparisons in terms of product content and pricingEnsure that Regional Managers, District Managers, and Store Managers are fully understanding of sales operations proceduresCompile and distribute recurring sales performance dataIdentify barriers to success and work with the store and store support teams to mitigate Ensure the safe use of equipment & toolsWorking with the product service organization, develop procedures to identify, communicate and help resolve product repair issuesExtensive travel is required to adequately support the assigned store locationsOperate power equipment products, including customer demonstrationsExercise sound judgment, maintain confidentiality, and uphold professionalism in daily decisions and interactions.Actively participate in training programs, workshops, and webinars to acquire new knowledge and refine skills, staying updated on industry trends and best practices.Provide friendly, proactive, and professional support to internal and external stakeholders, addressing inquiries, concerns, and issues effectively.Demonstrate Rural King’s core values—People First, Integrity, Attitude, Initiative, Teamwork, Accountability, and Continuous Improvement—in all actions and decisions.Perform other responsibilities as assigned, contributing to the team’s success.Supervisory Responsibilities

Essential Qualities for SuccessExpert knowledge and operational experience with power equipment and other productsRetail sales experience with a range of applicable power equipment and other productsAbility to work independently and without supervisionAn aptitude to teach and train othersComfortable navigating computer systems and software to assist customers or manage activities. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to build rapport, listen actively, and communicate effectively with a diverse range of individuals. Strong orientation toward process-driven approaches, demonstrated through previous experience an accomplishment.Excellent verbal and written interpersonal and communication skills.Excellent customer service skills.
Physical Requirements
Ability to maintain a seated or standing position for extended durations.Ability to lift, push, and/or pull a minimum of 30 pounds repetitively and 31-50 pounds intermittently. The pay range for this position is $70,000 - $80,500 annualized and is bonus eligible. Exact compensation is determined by factors such as relevant geographic location, education, certifications, experience, job level, shift, and organizational needs.
