Your role and responsibilitiesIn this role, you will have the opportunity to be responsible for the sales of products/systems/services within a designated market/division, in line with the division strategy. Each day, you will achieve both qualitative and quantitative sales targets to ensure sustainable order growth, revenues, profitability, market share, and customer satisfaction. You will also showcase your expertise by identifying and developing new sales opportunities.The work model for the role is: remoteThis role is contributing to the Electrification Smart Power division in the South East region of the United States. You will be mainly accountable for:o\tLead region to develop and execute strategy to close profitable orders for the following products: Uninterruptible Power Systems (UPS) and associated accessories, Static Transfer Switches (STS) and Power Distribution Units (PDU)o\tExecute annual detailed account strategies with iReps, VARS and for key end users in pursuit of top line growth across the regiono\tCollaborate with multiple ABB sales teams and channel partners to drive sales directly with end-users and through electrical contractors, distribution, and OEM accountso\tPartner with Channel Sales Managers and Value-Added Reseller Channel Managerso\tSupport complex contract negotiationo\tDevelop strategic end user customer relationships with key decision makerso\tEnsure all orders are in strict compliance with ABB Risk Review Processo\tOwn accuracy of orders, commitments and convertible orders forecast and serve as a focal point for sales forecasts
Qualifications for the roleBachelor's degree in Engineering discipline and/or advanced business degree. Others considered based on applicable industry experience.Minimum 5 years’ experience in sales with successful track record and tangible results working with third party channel partners, relevant consultants and contractors, distributors and end users in the data center, critical power, power quality or related industries.Thorough understanding of customer base and channel in assigned region.Strong knowledge of the electrical power industry.Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office essentials & Salesforce.com.Ability to travel regularly.Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
