Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Regional Sales Manager to lead and oversee our sales operations in the Denver CO Region. The ideal candidate is a strong leader with a proven track record of driving sales growth in the distribution industry. This individual will have a hands-on approach, able to roll up their sleeves and lead by example, while mentoring and motivating a team to achieve ambitious sales targets. The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for leading a team of Sales Reps, while also managing key accounts, developing new business, and ensuring the overall success of the sales team within the region.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Leadership: Lead, inspire, and manage a high-performing sales team, providing coaching, mentorship, and development to ensure success across all team members. Territory Management: Oversee sales strategies and performance within your assigned region, ensuring the effective allocation of resources to maximize revenue generation and market share. Team Development: Foster a positive, high-energy culture within the sales team. Provide ongoing training, guidance, and performance reviews to ensure continuous growth and success. Strategic Sales Planning: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet regional goals, drive business growth, and strengthen relationships with key clients. Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with both existing and potential customers, working to understand their needs and offer tailored distribution solutions. Sales Performance Tracking: Monitor, analyze, and report on the region's sales performance using key performance indicators (KPIs) and other metrics, adjusting strategies as needed to achieve goals. Collaborative Approach: Work closely with operations, marketing, and other internal teams to align on goals, improve customer satisfaction, and streamline the distribution process. Problem Solving: Address any challenges or issues promptly, offering innovative solutions to ensure customer satisfaction and smooth operations. Market & Competitor Analysis: Stay up to date on industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions, using insights to inform sales strategies and drive competitive advantage. Hands-on Sales Activities: Actively participate in sales calls, meetings, and negotiations, setting the standard for customer interaction and driving sales success within your region.Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Sales Manager or Regional Sales Manager Strong leadership skills, with a demonstrated ability to inspire and manage sales teams to achieve and exceed goals. "Roll up your sleeves" mentality with a hands-on approach to sales and team development. Strong sales and negotiation skills, with a proven ability to drive business growth. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills. Ability to work collaboratively across departments to meet customer needs and achieve company goals. Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making abilities. Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to travel within the assigned region as needed. Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (preferred but not required).
