This role will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, strengthening strategic partnerships, and expanding distribution within assigned customers/geographies. Key functions also include account management, business development, category management, fact based selling, goal setting/measurement, and ultimately responsible for positive results and overall customer satisfaction. This manager is the key contact and communicator between the Company and the accounts for which they are responsible for. The salary range for this position is $84,000.00 - $126,000.00 per year, based on experience and qualifications with annual bonus available (variable depending on performance). In addition to the base salary, Perdue offers a competitive benefits package, including medical/Rx, 401(k) with employer match after 1 year, critical illness, accident insurance, dental, vison, life insurance, optional group life insurance, short-term and long-term disability protection, flexible spending accounts and paid time off. **Principal and Essential Duties & Responsibilities** + Develop and implement a sales plan to include all categories within the specified accounts. Manages all budgeted product line volumes, price, mix and share levels. Prepares and presents business reviews and new items. Monitors daily, weekly, quarterly and YTD relevant customer metrics. + Implements and champions procedures to continuously improve the accuracy of the forecast for all categories. + Manages budgets for all specified accounts. Manages the utilization of the TPM system to input and monitor customer programs to control spending and attain results. + Works cross-functionally with teams from Sales Planning, RGM, Whole Bird, Marketing, Operations, QA, Supply Chain & Executive Management to ensure effective communication and problem solving. The National Account Manager is a member of a team and, as such, must work in coordination with all stakeholders for optimal outcomes for the Company and the customer. + Travels, as needed, to store locations to stay abreast of the marketplace, help support items and/or resolve issues. + Continuously improves skills by participating in classes and seminars as needed for personal developmental. **Experience Requirements** Bachelor’s degree in the areas of Sales, Marketing or Business Administration or experience in lieu of a degree. The ideal candidate will have/be: + 3+ years related work experience required, preferably in the food or food sales area. + Strong reading, writing, communication and analytical skills. + Prior experience managing regional retailers and distributors. + Ability to communicate effectively with customers, brokers and internal teams. + Ability to travel to customers, production facilities, Perdue corporate offices, and market areas to include overnight travel. + Should anticipate spending 20%+ of their time in travel. **Environmental Factors and Physical Requirements** This position is home based with travel to customers, production facilities and Perdue Corporate offices including overnight travel. _Perdue Farms Inc. is an Equal Opportunity employer.
