Regional Sales Manager Americas

Location: Chicago

As a Regional Sales Manager Americas, you will be responsible for building and managing strong relationships with customers, driving profitability and the long-term value of these accounts. The RSM should also act as the main contact towards customers and drive overall focus on customer needs.

Your responsibilities:Manage the sales process from inquiry to closing deals, following pricing policy, product portfolio, and process flow while using available systems (CRM, N, SharePoint).Develop and recommend annual sales and account plans/budgets aligned with business targets for Formaldehyde.Provide input on strategy, share account and market action plans, and identify target customers with the Sales & Market Manager.Execute account and market action plans to achieve volume, revenue, and sales margin targets.Build and maintain strong customer and stakeholder relationships while coordinating with Formaldehyde Technical Service for optimal product performance.Share market insights, support traditional marketing tasks, handle claims and complaints, and ensure compliance with JM ethics and EHS policies.

Requirements for the role:Degree in a scientific or technical discipline, with a background in the chemicals field, preferably in formaldehyde operations.Proven sales and technical sales experience, including complex negotiations and managing sales channels and processes.Strong commercial sales skills, with the ability to guide sales opportunities effectively.Business acumen, strong communication skills, and a proactive approach to initiating action.Commitment to JM values, including health and safety, integrity, innovation, and doing the right thing.Recognition and development mindset, promoting a balance of big and small business strengths with the freedom to act.
