Job Summary:
The Regional Sales Manager (RSM) has the primary responsibility of achieving the sales plan, protecting current product lines and market share, and winning new business opportunities within an assigned territory. As the primary face to the customer, the RSM plays a significant role in determining company strategies to optimize current and future business opportunities. The RSM is also expected to drive and support their network of channel partners in the region with a focus on new business leads generation, development and closing qualified opportunities.

Minimum Qualifications:
Experience: 7+ years of relevant experience in regional sales management, channel partner management, consultative selling and a proven track record in negotiating and closing sales pursuits.Education/Certification: BA or BS or Technical degree or equivalentSkills/Abilities: Demonstrated ability to form and maintain good relationships with Customer Representatives at all levels; Ability to form and maintain good internal customer relationships; Successful history in identifying, targeting, negotiating and winning profitable business; Analytical skills and disciplines in support of market analysis, business planning, customer / competitor analysis; Demonstrated proficiency in relationship management and conflict resolution; Ability to develop and present proposals to the customerEligibility Requirement: This position may require access to Controlled Data or Information. Salary range: $91,100.00 to $172,100.00. Several factors contribute to actual salary, including experience in a similar role or performing comparable job responsibilities, skills, training, and other qualifications. Some roles may be eligible for participation in performance-based bonus programs.
